You took this cruise quite a while ago? We were just on the CP in May 2024 in Europe. 40 cruises and we both had to use the Medical Center. Very impressed with the care we received.
I'm curious since I'm never allowed to film inside, what was the process to get care?
@@ThePortLowdown For us it was the first time ever. I was surprised at how busy it would be when first opened as far as how many patients, but then I'd never been to the Medical Center, so we don't know what the norm is. You walk in and if you're not the first then you are in a line with several people who have different ailments. My wife broke her ankle on the second day on an excursion and I came down with the mother of all colds (not covid-2 negative tests) while in London before the cruise.
the receptionist (Lean) could not have been more professional and helpful and accolades to the medical staff who were instrumental in at least giving my wife some sense of mobility for the remainder of the cruise (9 days). Typical general practice office in that when they take you back you don't see anything other than the waiting room.
Wow, I hope the rest of your trip was manageable with all that! Best to your wife! And to answer your first question, we sailed her in April, so pretty recent.
Do they have an "adult only" pool?
The Sanctuary pool is your best bet, followed by the aft pool.
Are restaurants open for breakfast and lunch? We already reserved for dinners.
The main dining room should have hours for all meals. Buffet and International Cafe should also be available. Poolside lunch spots are also available. You should be covered!
I should say that lunch in the main dining room is on sea days.
Do they make gluten free pizza?
Yes, you can. From what I hear, it's good.
