- Today I'm crafting for you, 3 ALL NEW 🎄Rustic Farmhouse Christmas Home Decor DIYS.
I'm making a Rustic Pine Cone Kissing Ball, a Farmhouse Christmas Star and a Rustic Moose Holiday Pedestal. I used mostly Dollar Tree supplies to keep down the costs. My Moose is a Walmart ornament and I used a few things that I already had on hand.

I've never heard of a kissing ball but it is so cute. I love the star. The moose project is adorable too
A kissing ball is a version of a kissing bough which was used as a Christmas decoration in medieval times in the UK, and very popular with the Tudors. The bough was made on a framework of hoops put together to form an open ball. The hoops were then covered in evergreens, such as holly, ivy, and mistletoe, then decorations like the pine cones, bows, fruit such as apples, and perhaps candles. Some had a figure of baby Jesus in the manger placed in the middle. They think the kissing bough originates from Germany, as did decorating a Christmas tree 🎄
I made one a few years ago like this. I used floristry wedding hoops to make mine, and wrapped micro lights round all the greenery 😊
