Pro tip: Just bury yourself next to a young pine tree with no coffin. Soon enough your body will deteriorate and your corpse will provide nutrients to the growing tree, resulting in it growing and producing pine cones, not only turning your body into a piece of many pine cones, but also leave you with a feeling of fulfilment, knowing that even through all your mistakes, you've helped make something that will last long after you, and that your death might mean more than you life ever did.
1: 98 Newtons 2: A 3: Immediately 4: B 5: The detailed drawing of a middle finger in the middle of a graph that represents a sense of purpose over the course of a human lifetime could be interpreted as a symbolic expression of frustration, defiance, or a rebellious attitude toward the concept of purpose. In this context, it may suggest a point in time where the individual feels a lack of purpose, existential frustration, or a rejection of societal or personal expectations. The placement in the middle of the graph could symbolize a midlife crisis or a period of questioning one's direction and purpose. It might indicate a moment of resistance or a desire to break away from conventional expectations and redefine one's sense of purpose. Of course, the interpretation could vary based on the specific context or intention of the person creating the graph, as metaphorical or artistic expressions can be subjective and open to individual perspectives. 6: The disagreement between Alice and Pierre seems to revolve around the question of whether Obi-Wan Kenobi remembers R2-D2 in Star Wars Episode IV. Let's break down the arguments: Pierre's Argument: Obi-Wan Kenobi states that he's never owned a droid before in Episode IV. This suggests that he doesn't remember R2-D2. Alice's Counter-argument: Alice brings up the moment when Obi-Wan calls R2-D2 "my little friend." She interprets this as a sign that Obi-Wan does, in fact, remember R2-D2. It's worth noting that the Star Wars canon has a vast and intricate storyline, and sometimes details are open to interpretation or might be explained in different ways. In the context of the specific dialogue mentioned, both Pierre and Alice have points that can be considered. Obi-Wan's statement about never owning a droid could be interpreted as a more general statement about not owning R2-D2, given the droid's history with Anakin Skywalker. Without a clear resolution within the Star Wars canon, this disagreement might persist, and fans may interpret the characters' interactions differently based on their own perspectives and assumptions. The nature of fictional universes often leaves room for various interpretations and discussions among fans. 7:N/A 8: N/A 9: B 10: 4 days , The reason James is suggested to live miserably ever after is a fictional or exaggerated assumption based on the described behavior of intentionally delaying responses to give the impression of disinterest while being infatuated. This behavior may lead to misunderstandings, miscommunication, and potential emotional distress in a relationship. The idea is that this deliberate misrepresentation of interest could negatively impact the dynamics between Ava and James, creating a scenario of prolonged unhappiness. However, it's important to note that real-life relationships are nuanced, and the described scenario is a fictional construct. 11: The description of Arthur pushing away people who are both nice to him and people he likes suggests a complex interpersonal dynamic. This intersection represents individuals who not only treat him well (niceness) but also align with his personal preferences or affections (liking them). The reasons behind pushing away such individuals can vary and may involve psychological or emotional factors: Fear of Vulnerability: Arthur might fear becoming emotionally vulnerable with people he genuinely likes and who are also kind to him. Opening up to others can be challenging, and the fear of being hurt or rejected may lead to pushing such individuals away. Self-Sabotage: Some individuals, consciously or unconsciously, engage in self-sabotaging behaviors that hinder the development of close relationships. This could be rooted in low self-esteem, past negative experiences, or a fear of success in relationships. Unresolved Issues: Arthur may have unresolved emotional issues or past traumas that affect his ability to connect with others on a deeper level. Pushing away those who could potentially form meaningful connections may be a defense mechanism to avoid confronting these underlying issues. Fear of Expectations: Building close relationships involves expectations and responsibilities. Arthur might fear the expectations that come with maintaining a relationship with someone he genuinely likes. This fear could be related to concerns about not meeting the expectations of the other person or not living up to his own standards. Understanding the specific reasons behind Arthur's behavior would require a deeper exploration of his personal history, experiences, and emotions. It's important to note that individuals are unique, and there could be a variety of factors influencing their actions in relationships. 12: Human relationships can be intricate and challenging, often influenced by a variety of factors such as emotions, communication, past experiences, and personal growth. The situation you've described between Will and Claire reflects the complexity of human emotions and the sometimes painful dynamics of relationships. Here are a few factors that contribute to such situations: Communication Breakdown: Miscommunication or a lack of effective communication can lead to misunderstandings and unexpressed feelings. In the scenario you presented, both Claire and Will express regret and sorrow, but the lines of communication seem to have broken down, preventing a reconciliation. Emotional Complexity: Human emotions are complex, and relationships often involve a mix of love, happiness, regret, and sorrow. People may find it challenging to navigate and express these emotions, leading to a sense of loss or separation. Past Hurts and Mistakes: Previous experiences and mistakes in a relationship can create lasting wounds. Even when there is love and positive memories, the pain from past events may prevent individuals from coming back together. Changing Circumstances: Life circumstances, personal growth, and external factors can influence the course of relationships. Sometimes, even if there is a desire to reconnect, changes in life paths may make it difficult for the lines to intersect again. Inability to Forgive: Forgiveness is a crucial element in rebuilding relationships. If individuals are unable to forgive or move past certain events, it can hinder the possibility of reconciliation. Despite the challenges, it's important to recognize that every relationship is unique, and the reasons behind its dynamics are multifaceted. Humans are complex beings, and the intricacies of relationships make them both beautiful and challenging to navigate. 13: Blank 14: A pinecone 15: "Gnaa aahhahah." 16: The fictional attributes assigned to the pine cone are metaphors to highlight the contrast between the simplicity of nature and the complexity of human emotions. The pine cone, lacking subjective experience, represents an idealized state of calm detachment. As for human behavior, it involves a combination of evolutionary history, cognitive biases, societal influences, and individual differences, making it challenging for individuals to consistently act in their long-term best interests. 17: The human brain's capacity for self-awareness allows recognition of mistakes, but behavioral change is often impeded by complex and interconnected factors. Happiness is a subjective and multifaceted concept influenced by various factors, including psychological well-being, life circumstances, and personal values.
Pine cones dont need to watch videos for they hold an everlasting inner peace within themselves and do not have to distract themselves from the burden that is life
or how about Pine Cones can't appreciate anything in life including all of the interesting intricacies and fascinating interactions this video depicts are part of the wonder of intelligent life and even though most humans ignore the perceivably good parts of life and focus solely on the perceivably bad parts at least we can perceive while Pine Cone cannot. so that's better than literally nothing.

This sounds like it was written by someone with depression, or at least a sense of nihilism not shared by most people. So entirely on brand for an Exurb1a video
why do you say its not shared by most people? have you taken some kind of pole? oh no, wait, you must be one of those people that everything works out for, who had a wonderful childhood, who isn't living in the time of covid and online dating, who is happily married (i said happily married...) and understands everything about....oh wait you probably only worry about which detergent gets your clothes softer, did you figure it out?
@@banditodwardo4028 interestingly enough this particular brand of nihilism is not particularly common among people under severe conditions of basic need uncertainty. Because on one had I'm going to experience some emotional shit for the first time in weeks after the girl I love left me and my entire family got covid and on the other, I'm going to hear the sultry voice of a middle-aged man telling me a metaphorical story presented through a Exam representing the curse of the human condition somehow condensed down into the timeframe needed to eat a cheese toasty and skull a bottle of happy juice.
I have never heard such a relatable and deeply human monologue. “A brain smart enough to recognise its fuck-ups, but not smart enough to stop fucking up.” As ever sir, you inspire introspection.
I’ve been pretty happy recently, and I think the secret is gratitude. I’ve tried to be more conscious of things I’m grateful for, like that I’m alive at the time of the best standards of living in human history, or even that I’m alive at all and can experience the world, or that I was born after the advent of the internet and therefore have access to all the knowledge humans have ever written down. Obviously just because this is working for me doesn’t mean it will forever or that it will for everyone. But I’m happy and if someone reads this and tries it and it works, let me know! I hope it does help.
Snap. I used to be anxious that I wouldn't be here to listen to the last piece of information humans learnt. However Stoicism and Deep Meditation have made me realise its enough being happy for what I can know.
I'm happy, because it's better than being sadge, I'm happy because I get to experience ( even if life is an illusion, or a dream) it seems to be a dream ought to be experienced, I'm happy because I get to experience even for a little while

2:19 all the depression in the comment section aside, alot of points like this one are very good introspections that really do make us stop and consider why we do the things we do, and it's those brief moments of clarity that can be the line that stops us from doing something really stupid. I really appreciate the work you put into this channel, its being asked those 'why' questions that keep me tuned, keep up the work dude
Man, I love this guy's videos, they resonate so well with me. I often suffer from existential crisies, especially since I live in a foreign country away from friends and family and my university has been under lockdown for a year and a half with all lectures distance via zoom. So naturally I spend a lot of time by myself, too much. I have literally had so many thoughts that parallel the author's, even the video about going back in time and how I could use my knowledge of the present to advantage myself in the past. It was pretty crushing to hear that the Authors mental state is only partially reflected in his videos, and that he portrays himself as someone who has found contentment in nihilism which is clearly not the case. I too have been driven insane by the nihilism of the universe combined with this stupid lockdown and turned to alcohol and done many things I have regretted. But I have never done anything as bad as is alleged against the author of this video thankfully. It kinda kills all the positive messages and conclusions the author reaches when it's clear he doesn't believe in them himself.
I really enjoyed and benefited from this guy's content too, but when there are such serious allegations I cannot just turn a blind eye. Says alot about your perception of an online person and how it can conceal what they truly are
I always appreciate exurb1a's dose of existentialism. Each video alters how I see the world for the better. It gives me a reason to just sit in silence for a bit and simply think about my place in the universe.

Hey man I wrote you a poem: The question asked has no answer you see It roams the mountains among the trees It wades in the rivers where the fish swim free It is in the pattern among the falling leaves You'll find it in a mothers warm embrace The stone gaze of a fathers protecting face A farmers strong hand The power of a wedding band No, I don't mis speak It is not something you can seek It's found in the friend you call brother And the woman just named a mother The questions answer is not something you see Its the answer to life and it's not so deep Let yourself stop asking and just look around Work together and soon it will be found
Can we appreciate that the hands in "the hug we desperately wish we could ask for but have convinced ourselves that the pain of existence must be carried alone on our backs" are correct?
the pinecone doesn't get to have friends and good food and enjoy rainy days, though. the pinecone doesn't know how cool a pigeon is or how a robin disappears at dusk or how sparrows pull their wings in when they fly and bob up-and-down, up-and-down. the pinecone will never understand how it feels to make someone laugh or see them react to an unexpected christmas gift or have a meaningful discussion about something you both care about. pinecones don't know what suffering is, but they don't know what joy is, either.
True. It is a trade. But I feel it's a worth while one. Because, depending on your particular cocktail of life, there can be a hard cap on how much joy or suffering you will feel. And that's a choice none of us get to make for ourselves
For some reason... this vid makes me feel really guilty for all the past years of me closing myself off to the world and sabotaging everything about myself and gives me motivation (finally!) to stop doing that and become better and kinder to myself, as well as others. Thank you, wise Turtle God for calling out my human bullsh*t :)

I feel like as long as there're people like you who understand, who r intelligent enough, life's still worth living. As long as I haven't seen everyone in the world who is that much remarkable, or been to all the beautiful places or experienced all the great moments, life's still worth living. 5: The detailed drawing of a middle finger in the middle of a graph that represents a sense of purpose over the course of a human lifetime could be interpreted as a symbolic expression of frustration, defiance, or a rebellious attitude toward the concept of purpose.
Let's break down the arguments:
Pierre's Argument: Obi-Wan Kenobi states that he's never owned a droid before in Episode IV.

10: 4 days , The reason James is suggested to live miserably ever after is a fictional or exaggerated assumption based on the described behavior of intentionally delaying responses to give the impression of disinterest while being infatuated.
11:
The description of Arthur pushing away people who are both nice to him and people he likes suggests a complex interpersonal dynamic. This intersection represents individuals who not only treat him well (niceness) but also align with his personal preferences or affections (liking them). The reasons behind pushing away such individuals can vary and may involve psychological or emotional factors:
Fear of Vulnerability: Arthur might fear becoming emotionally vulnerable with people he genuinely likes and who are also kind to him.
Here are a few factors that contribute to such situations:
Communication Breakdown: Miscommunication or a lack of effective communication can lead to misunderstandings and unexpressed feelings.
13: Blank
14: A pinecone
15: "Gnaa aahhahah."
16: The fictional attributes assigned to the pine cone are metaphors to highlight the contrast between the simplicity of nature and the complexity of human emotions.

The question asked has no answer you see
It roams the mountains among the trees
It wades in the rivers where the fish swim free
It is in the pattern among the falling leaves
You'll find it in a mothers warm embrace
The stone gaze of a fathers protecting face
A farmers strong hand
The power of a wedding band
No, I don't mis speak
It is not something you can seek
It's found in the friend you call brother
And the woman just named a mother
The questions answer is not something you see
Its the answer to life and it's not so deep
Let yourself stop asking and just look around
Work together and soon it will be found
That's actually really good. Thanks for it

And that's a choice none of us get to make for ourselves
the pine cone is not a pine cone
Life is basically like an exam
Some people argue over whether the answer is 2.1 or 2.2 while I get Africa
While some get cancer
I got antibodies
Always feels good to see notification from this channel
this is honestly one of my favorite videos of all time
For some reason... this vid makes me feel really guilty for all the past years of me closing myself off to the world and sabotaging everything about myself and gives me motivation (finally!) to stop doing that and become better and kinder to myself, as well as others.
Thank you, wise Turtle God for calling out my human bullsh*t :)
Whenever u feel unmotivated again, remember u made and believed in this comment
don't think you should call him a turtle god considering the uh... stuff he's done (theres a filter i think, i can't be too specific)
@@exynth1a215 See? He’s so powerful he can silence all our enemies! Praise The Turtle!
@@luftwaffle3766 it's r*pe and emotional manipulation that is being silenced
@@luftwaffle3766 Bro... Lmao
Man you know exactly how to perfectly encapsulate everything I've felt for the last 6 years
Damn you exurb1a, why'd you have to make me tear up by the end of all your damn videos?
Don't stop it.
i think you'll also be tearing up when you realise that he raped and mentally abused an autistic woman by the name of Pieke Roelofs. Documentation of which can be found on youtube or via google search

This is one of few RUclips videos I actually rewatch
I turned myself into a pinecone Morty! I’m *eternally carefree and unconcerned with the anguish of existing.*
This comes out right close to the end of the hardest month I've had in a very long time. I can't tell whether this helps or just reminds me of what I'm trying to forget.
I was genuinely searching for your channel and fate smiled upon me when I got this notification.
The pinecone (the specific one depicted, not all of them) feels only endless suffering, but, having no way to express this, does not give off such an impression.
"And if happiness is the answer, please show your working" Gonna get that tattooed on my ass for real. Merry Chrysler everyone!
Happy Honda days!

“Have you tried not being sad?”…i’ve tried Bro but I count my blessings, thanks for the upload, Merry Christmas And Happy New Year 👊🎄
Never fail to put a smile on my face, thanks exurb1a. I hope you're keeping well
Starting each question with the last word used on the previous question always makes me smile
You're either opening up more than usual, or have started losing it mate. Funny enough, I find comfort in the fact that most of us can relate to all of that. Whereas a pine cone couldn't. Don't mind me though, I'm pulling a Rachel right now. Keep it up! Наздраве!
Tonight, christmas eve, bordering on christmas morning, I was on the verge of having a mental breakdown. and knowing full well all of your videos are existentialist and terrifying and often make me question reality, I chose to watch it anyway.
and for some ungodly reason, it didn't push me over the edge, and now I feel pretty chill about the whole existence thing.
like seeing so many people in the comments agreeing over how generally better it would be to be a pinecone, is weirdly soothing.
oh except this line “A brain just smart enough to recognize its fuck ups but not smart enough to stop fucking up”
that one slapped me into the next day. (mostly because it's around midnight, but w/e)
merry Christmas or something I guess
Tonight is not Christmas Eve and tomorrow is not Christmas lmao, you have another day to panic :)
@@dylan10011998 some countries celebrate christmas on the 24 and not the 25. Also time difference is a thing
@@dylan10011998 nah man, timezones, it's ALREADY PAST CHRISTMAS where I am, (the 26th) presuming your somewhere upwards in the world from where I am, (not hard to do)
So I bear a message from the future,
"Merry Christmas" (because its a pretty good time for me) if at a guess its probably Christmas eve or Christmas day for you. so enjoy lol
@@emamezihorakova9399 in this case its time difference, but yeah I learned literally just the other day that a whole bunch of counties celebrate on the 24th. that's wild to me haha
I think this video is trying to tell people don't take every thing too seriously. Enjoy the life.
Great, now everytime I see a pinecone I'll get an existential crisis knowing it's probably doing better than me...
I love these videos so much. I truly feel that if great philosophers exist now. THIS is what they would be doing, even though it’s humorous, that never hurt anyones way of life.
It’s strange, some of us have become so aware we have to imagine being a pine cone to subside the existential terror.
This guy gets it
Acceptance, accepting things for the way they are and choosing to live in the moment. I say this, as I probably will neglect to do it myself, but hey, we're confusing little apes aren't we?
Truly, I just wanted to say... Just how are you so amazing. As you've talked about, in your videos, I'm one of those people who have seen the dark abyss of their lives and who find it hard to unsee it now, to finally escape from that place of ultimate grief and chaos. And no one, no one ever has convinced me to look for life again just like you've. I'm not saying that I've healed but seeing you I realize exactly what kind of person you're. I thought I was alone in this but here you're. The person who knows, who knows about the abyss and the emptiness, who knows everything and who has answers as to why we should get out of it nd live the real world. I don't know if you'd even read this or not but just know that just this piece of knowledge that there is someone like you in this world, who knows and understands exactly what I feel, who has answers and the kind of intelligence that's not easy to find, just knowing this fact that such a person exist is a kind of hope for me. I feel like as long as there're people like you who understand, who r intelligent enough, life's still worth living. As long as I haven't seen everyone in the world who is that much remarkable, or been to all the beautiful places or experienced all the great moments, life's still worth living. Not that am trying to live just yet , but I have found a bit of hope, something I thought I'd never find. So, thankyou so much for existing and just know that the knowledge of someone like you existing is giving hope to me.. May God bless you❤
Been watching your videos for a while now. Literally get so excited when somthing new is realised. Thanks for putting ridiculous amounts of effort in to make a little master piece each month or so 🙌
