Did not know you had been ill ; glad you feel up to doing a few miles. It is nice to hear a scottish accent on here mines is broad Fife . I enjoy the occasional out and am mad about inkwells and pipes. I love local stuff and just have fun with this hobby. Anyways enjoy your hobby. .
Hey Marionette yeah I had 3 heart attacks in 3 weeks, so had to have a drastic change in lifestyle, but just sitting around waiting for another one is not my cup of tea. I would much rather get out and do things i enjoy than live a life at home. I really really enjoy hunting for stuff, to me the ground is like life's big lucky bag, its amazing what gets uncovered if you spend some time looking. I hear there is lots of bottle dumps and treasure patches up your way, so no shortage of little secrets to uncover. It's great having loads of history behind us. And yes one of my first hoards was a pipe hoard, it was awesome to find. With a name like mud larking marionette, im gonna have to check your channel out too. 👍👍👍
silver swallow brooch was nice m8 well done do you remember big simon that detected and bottle dug with us he died a terminal cancer sad m8 just found out use electro lysis like an old phone charger and fry the coins one on the coin one on a spoon and rub them with an ink eraser once youve cleaned them you'll get stuff off old coins ive did it with turners any programs are hard with with head phones but ill send u a few a use
Yeah Thor told me just the other day about big Simon passing away, I had no idea he had terminal cancer. I need to look into electrolysis on coins, I usually use it to etch metal so I do have a crude charger set up that I could use. And yeah the standard programs all feel the same with just the headphones, I got the wristwatch to help with target I.d aswell, just as an extra helping tool. Looking forward to hitting parks aswell, my old fields with all the grenades has houses built all over it now lol that's crazy.
Yes bud I still collect them, I'm currently trying to find an 1845 site at my new permission. Plenty of broken bottles, pipes, teapots, and pewter stuff all over the place. I just can't seem to locate the actual pit. But when I do I will absolutely be digging down. But since a major disagreement at the last site, I won't be going back to that one, or I will end up hitting somebody in the face with a spade. Best to find my own spot, rather than digging with a snitch. So hopefully we can find this pit near my new spot. It's slightly older so I would really like to see what's there.
@HOARDHUNTER1 keep looking as the older stuff is what you're looking for. We were digging a tip 1870s 1880s. Sadly, most of the stuff was broken, but just to see narrow necked codds and Hamiltons and early free blown bottles got us very excited.
@huggy176 I heard the same about two other dumps of this age, nearly everything was broken. So if I can pull unbroken stuff there should be some good keepers and sellers. Fingers crossed lol All the best bud👍👍👍
@@HOARDHUNTER1 you realise most dumps from that age of 1845 will contain mostly broken stuff as stuff was generally use again and again till it broke on the early georgian tips and victorian tips theres generally no much in them but when you do find something its a gem
Good to see you buddy. Who passed away dude ? That's me back on the hunting game, I also noticed someone in England also robbed my channel name lol Anyway how are you keeping ? I also had 3 heart attacks in 3 weeks that's why I had to take the time off. I still get issues but fed up sitting around, so I'm back on it.

@ThorsTreasure no bud I never took the vaccine, I have always been dodgy about injections, never took the B.C.G and skin test at school either, I don't even go to the doctors for anything. I have less issues now I stopped smoking, don't drink either. I dis catch covid twice. First time my kidneys nearly exploded, and second time not much issues but lost my sense of smell and only just started getting it back. I hope you get that out of your system bud. I have heard about people with that crap, not good, global elites trying to reduce the population creating new diseases and trying to blame China.
