Looking back at the 24th national kumdo7dan championship during the presidential term, there was a difference in quickness due to differences in skills and wide age in the preliminary round, but they were so urgent that it was impossible to predict the difference between winning and losing from the round of 16.
Personally, there was a regret that I could not see the rematch between Kim Tae-hyun and Lee Kang-ho, but the appearance of a new 7dan dark horse, Lee Yong-un, Kim Jin-yong, Lee Hoon-hee, as well as Kim Jung-kwon, Kim Dae-hyun and Im Jong-gil attracted attention.
Lee Kang-ho's management of shinai, strong and continuous SEME (pressuring), and great skills (GYAKUDO rarely saw it before) were good, and Kim Hwang-sun's performance and competition, which seemed to be thoroughly prepared for this, were also good examples.
