I use a compass for scribing, use clamps or a temporary screw to hold the sheet in place, set the compass to the widest gap, hold level’ish and mark the sheet. Gets a good scribe every time! You’re welcome. 😉😁👍🏻
One tip : always begin your work with the hardest task first : you have the most energy and concentration. That way the rest of your work has to stand up against your best . ( I would have done the ceiling first ) if you have the same boards for the ceiling have a rod or 2 ready that are thin but strong enough that they bend , a little bit longer than the height of your van inside , so you press the boards against the ceiling by themselves , so you can attach them without stress
use plastic sheeting for patterns. you can see thru it, and use magnets to hold it in place, and it's cheap [trimmer here]
