Thank you DR.lebish! As a young Catholic, I’ve been hungry to learn scripture. I’ve watched all your videos (more than once) and it has totally transformed my faith. May God bless you and your family and I hope you post new videos
Amazing. I have referred to your videos for the study of the Old Testament and really learned a lot about Scripture and as i start with the New, hoping to learn it deeply and to devour it. God bless you
i just started using his videos to actually study the bible rather then just read it. But is it ok if its not like giving me on a way to be spiritual for that day. are some days just for learning?

while i understand that history is the kind of bass note of the gospels' truth, the mystery of the gospels (the anagogical i spose) is their highest and most supreme note, which therefore in a sense exceeds history; 'history' as such is subservient to the mystery: history is of the world, not of the spirit. an 'historian' could never write the bible, it contains 'symbolic facts' which exceed - is better than - any historical literalism. the gospels therefore don't have to fit together as a coherent historical whole, the v.tension between the narratives is part of the mystery, part of what the gospels teach. No doubt this is often just a matter of emphasis, but i am always on guard against any blank demand - which it can so quickly become - that the gospel be historical in some unprobelmatic sense (of which there isn't: histroy is probelmatical, and the bible - so deep, so profound - is a meditation on, not a presumption of history ; indeed, on what history - qua tradition - could be, rather than what it is). massive metaphysical questions abound: how does the past exist, how does history exist, does the cry of suffering, the poverty of the spirit even register in history? Is not history always a subordination of the subjective, of the soul, to the political, and the empire? is it not of the world, rather than of the spirit? etc.
Difference? The Bible is True because the Bible says the Bible is True {Circular} 0:33:10 The Traditions of the Church says it is True because 0:34:10 The Church says it is true. > >

this introduction about theology and dogma is tiresome. get into the actual gospel, thats what i came for.
