I love the fact that although this is an RC car and most people will be looking at the outside, not expecting an interior to be well designed, you still add detail. THAT'S WHAT I CALL COMMITMENT GOOD JOB!!

This video really helped me paint my first RC car. I used the same method for applying decals on the Lancia and it came out near perfect! The tip for painting over with white on the mistakes really saved me. Great video thanks!

I too like to use a large aerosol can affixed to the roof interior for painting the main body. It's such a nice way to get easy access all round with the paint😎👍🏻

Nice work there you got a good finish. All I would say extra would be that I would recommend you to invest in an air brush and compressor to paint the small details when you mask. This would stop the ugly paint runs under the tape and take your builds to the next level.

I don’t know how much watts, mine is only a cheap one... but I would recommend a low force to begin.

After the body was painted with the clear. Did you have specs of fine dust? I say if you did could try wet sanding it. And To remove the orange peel.
Yes, of course it can be better and better with sanding and painting and polish at the end. But over all I'm happy how it looks without this effort. And after a first run and crash all the work is sensless.... 😂😂
Are you going to put LEDs in the light buckets? I am curious if the body is set up for this or if it would require modification.
Yes, I think I'll do it. It needs only to enlarge the holes a bit to be able to insert LEDs in the light buckets. Not a big deal. 😊
All good things come to them who wait and you have delivered a great video again. It turned out perfect. It would be great to run it with the honda city turbo. You gonna have a go at the commical hornet when it gets released

Nice Paintjob..and useful Tricks to put the decails on..If you paint the black colour with Tamiya x18 ,you can also use a cutter to remove small mistakes after removing the masking tape..did you already try this, instead of using white coulour for overpainting?

@@Matteomeier yes so I looked and have i learn a lot.
I think I would cut the large bumper so it extends just to the front edge of the body, and then heat the bumper with the hot air gun to bend it up so it meets the front edge of the body. That way it will help support the body in a crash.
Yes, this is a good idea. Maybe it could have prevent the crash in my last video. 👍😊
@@Matteomeier: I didn't see what caused the crash. How would the large bumper help? Did the small bumper get caught on a rock, or something like that?
@@deusexaethera Because there was no front bumper, the front spoiler of the body touched the ground and this caused the rollover...

Hallo Mat! Ok, I've built the chassis, but using super glue to join the sponges for the tyres is not a good idea! I'm ready now for painting. 😊 I am going to keep the main white colour as is, but will first polish before painting the details. It's a great little car, thanks for your invaluable input! Yes, this should work. The shape of the interiour can be easely adjusted by a scissor.
