I love both of the new friends we meet in today's episode. And Tanjiro!!! I'm so proud of him!!! What a great episode. I love it when they show failures and training and then success through hard work in shows and movies, especially when done so well!

@@SnaxanReactions Happy/excited/relieved tears, and also sad tears. As others are saying, this will be a very wild ride, both ep 19, and almost all of the 2nd season. I would not be surprised if each episode of the 2nd series, you will get to the point of starting each episode unsure of how they will top the previous episode, and end each episode by claiming that it is the best episode yet.

I really like your reaction here. It's not forced like many small channels try to have it which is beyond annoying. I like the stage you present with framing and the fact that you're watching it in good quality in such a way you could enjoy it the most. Also I loved that shot from behind you with the TV, it gave this video a unique approach from basically any other reaction channel I've ever seen. I'll probs watch the rest of the videos on kimetsu too. If you ever have the time I'd highly recommend Mushoku Tensei too.
Sabitō wasn’t saying that Tanjiō couldn’t have emotions. He was just saying that if he was gonna be emotional, then he should do so quietly. Guys get emotional bit hide it so they don’t get people around them upset who are already emotional too. Like a loved one or spouse.
I don’t think that’s healthy though. I feel like men should be able to express their emotions, especially infront of loved ones.

I think it's a culture thing. There are some cultures where it's all about being the "man" and people are insecure about not being manly enough. So that's why they make fun of people by saying you're not man enough. is it the most healthiest? Not really. But it exists and is considered normal for better or for worse
it's always the quiet ones that keep things bottled up inside that go postal

Demon Slayer seriously has the most gorgeous animation I've ever seen in al my years of watching anime! And the OP at the start? I literally listen to that OP on repeat because it's just SO good!
I do wanna say, though, that there wouldn't be a problem with Tanjiro looking "too nice" if he were just a regular person. The problem is that he wants to join the Demon Slayer Corps and slay demons, and looking "too nice" can be dangerous when fighting demons. Tanjiro can have emotions. Just not while fighting.

In the time period this is set I don't think they had ideas as dumb and offensive as toxic masculinity. There is no such thing, the very concept simply demonizes masculinity completely.
Do you understand what it means? The definition of toxic masculinity essentially means that there are cultural pressures for men to behave in a certain way. It's hard to argue that there weren't any pressures for men to behave in a certain way. Of course they had it during that time period. The difference was that it was just accepted. It has been documented in of how it has affected a lot of impactful events in history during that time period and shaped decision making at the highest levels. In a way it has shaped their culture to what it is today.

That means a lot because I don't like just throwing out bad quality and yes I do edit my own videos. These do take time but I'm glad it shows. At some point though, something has to give because I'd love to put out more videos.
