Helen Hayes Honors Assembly 2019 Honors Judy Nygren

After suffering from an aneurysm, Judy was admitted to HHH unable to speak, move the right side of her body, or remain upright for more than a few minutes at a time.
Spurred on by her fierce love of her three young children, Judy worked tirelessly each day to regain her independence. She continues to push herself daily in outpatient therapy and is an inspiration to all she meets.
For her incredible achievements, Judy was presented with the Continuing Care Cup at the 119th Helen Hayes Hospital Honors Assembly on September 17, 2019.
