Thats because of the world televized time. The times in Australia are different than anywhere else. Even the UFC had a 24 hour window between weigh in and fight which is a 12 hour shorter recovery time

No one is conplaining that there is a rehydration clause. Jim is saying 12 hrs is too short and having the same time for the weifh in compared to a fight that starts at mid night as opposed to midday is nonsensical. Everyone would agree with that.

Theres weight classes for a reason.Crying about time to put on weight after weigh in is nonsense.Both fighters have to fight to same rules.If Loma fights the same way as last fight then George will likely be stopped by around the 8th round.
George needs the weight advantage just to make the fight competitive just like the rest of the lightweights, if they were same size as Loma they quit or het stopped before round 8, simple.
