Next Up for Top Rank Boxing, Australia’s fighting emperor and former unified world champion, George Kambosos Jr., is on a mission for a new belt. Standing in his way is a Ukrainian fight legend, Vasiliy Lomachenko, a three-division world champion intent on writing another triumphant chapter in his Hall of Fame career.
Lomachenko and Kambosos will clash for the vacant IBF lightweight world title as part of a world title tripleheader on Sunday, May 12, at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Two additional world title fights will be announced in the coming weeks.
Promoted by DiBella Entertainment, Top Rank, Ferocious Promotions, TEG Sport and Duco Events, Lomachenko-Kambosos and the two additional world title fights will be broadcast in prime time in the United States on Saturday, May 11 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+.

I do remember when nobody wanted to fight Loma, at 126, 130. Dude was a machine.
No-mas #1 p4p king, the decision to fight Teo with an injured shoulder killed his career. He listened to his ego and payed for it. Someone from the team should have stopped him back then, he still had a lot of time to make the fight (he was 32 then).

Even though Loma is a higher level fighter, but i'm still excited watching Kambosos taking on true champions. He is already champion and so entertaining to see.
Well, to be honest Kambosos has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Everyone know his true level and not many expect him to win but him beating Loma would be a historical event in Australia so for him its a win-win situation (plus great amount of money).

Anyone that feels bad for Lopez or George are even Haney, doesn't fully get what undisputed means. They all want those belts from one fight. Think about the guy that lost all those belts in one fight. The guy that actually earned each individual world title. Loma has broken records in the sport of boxing, he is a living legend. We hear whispers about the matrix in the shadowed halls of boxing rich history. Loma is the most perfect fighter ever. He is completely balanced and doesn't waste any movement. Loma is actually beautiful to watch. His foot work is unmatched. Loma has you constantly moving and thinkibg about what he is going to do next. You already lost control of the fight. Loma will go into the International Hall of fame no doubt. And so will Uysk when he becomes undisputed. And when you have claimed undisputed titles no one can ever take that achievement away from any fighter. And please be more respectful to our fighters past and present and future. If you love boxing, then you must treat the most important part of it with respect. All if our fighters world-wide. Our sport isnt UFC. And for good reason. We have a rich history that weaves its way right into our culture and politics. Its that important. Our fighters and champions sometimes transcend the sport itself. Treat them with the respect they deserve. And treat other like you expect to be treated.

Lomachenko is a true living Legend in the sport.
I've never seen any fighter get robbed worse than him multiple times.
The old time boxing pugilists don't want to see a Soviet fighter destroy their American records,
so they did the corrupt thing and rob him.. If he never got robbed in the amateurs
of that 1 fight as well as his 3 Pro fights he probably would go down as one
of the best of all time next to Muhammad Ali.

100% true. Fighters watching that night all said the same thing, Loma won and it was not even close. Keyshawn Davies, Oscar De La Hoya: 8 - 4 Loma. Linares 7 - 5 Loma. Tank and Teo: 9 - 3 Loma. It was truly a beat down especially for someone who had the height, youth, built and reach advantage.

@@WB-yw4pb I can give Teofimo the win but the judges scores were terrible. The one judge gave Loma just one round. Then the Haney fight was close but the judges were so inconsistent, especially giving Haney rounds Loma clearly won. Not too mention Harvey Dock and the 150 last warnings he gave to Haney and letting Haney hold Loma, like he did against Garcia, which Harvey Dock also officiated.

Look at this guy. At 36 years of age, after all the titles, olympic medals, 400 amateur fights, still giving it his all in training. In the Haney fight, Loma controlled the distance and showed better ring skills, which made Haney look lost at times... It was a great fight and it was clearly a win for Lomachenko. I always root for Vasiliy, he is a real boxing grandmaster.
