think of all the heroes we could have had. the rest of the jedi order (20+ famous jedi to choose from plus lesser known ones), ahsoka, a bunch of clones, loads of stuff from other sources (SWTOR, starkiller etc. not en expert on those but i know there is plenty of content there). ea really missed a huge opportunity because there is most definitely a market for all of that.
If this scene takes place before theForce awakens, it’s interesting that the Stormtroopers have the Last Jedi helmet version. Maybe just those stationed on starkiller base had the older helmets or they didn’t get the new ones yet. (I know the real reason is they didn’t want to make two helmets especially since the differences are not that big)

Unfortunately Disney didn't have a project for the sequels, it's a shame, because it has so much wasted potential, I keep imagining that instead of putting a clone of Palpite only in the last film, they had brought Palpatine from the beginning, that would be how they would make a connection with battlefront 2 and Palpatine's sentinel went to where he sent his conscience after his death in episode 6, so Palpatine would try to regain control of the entire galaxy at any cost, so with the help of Thrawn who would lead the remnants of the empire and Snoke along with the knights of ren and kylo that would be a sect that loved Palpatine and the dark side, so in my Episode 7 the new republic along with the new jedi order would fight against Thrawn and Snoke thinking they would be the great evil, only that in episode 8 we would have a traitor within the new republic saying that it would be necessary for the new republic to use a new clone army that would be much more powerful and tactical, it would be like skynet in terminator 3, so the new republic would accept using this army because of the great loss of life and that this new army ended this long war between the new republic and the remnants of the empire, only that this had been Palpatine's great plan that since this army was highly technological and that it worked through the connection to the Holonet, it was what Palpatine wanted so much he would do like Ultron trying to connect to the internet in the avengers movie, so he would send his final message to the galaxy the same one that was deleted from the movie and so he would control everything that was connected to the holonet like the army and other technologies that use the holonet to function, so he would be the all-seeing eye of the galaxy controlling everything and everyone in anything they did, so the 9 our heroes with the help of the galaxy ia ending with everything and finally ending with Palpatine this would be for me an idea of a trilogy that I had, because there were so many characters and stories wasted the best film of this trilogy was episode 9 of Colin Trevorrow and they still canceled it

This scene shows how inconsistent disney is at following a plot line.. you get this and then no explanation in any of the 2nd and 3rd movies in the disney trilogy.... actually it left more than just one loose end..
Kylo Ren was the only bright spot in that horrid sequel trilogy and Disney ruined him turning Kylo into a Rey simp and cold blooded murderer of Han Solo. Reylos suck. Kylo needed his own girl, like a Juno Eclipse in the First Order. I like the concept of Kylo, Han should have died on his own terms and Kylo could have taken out one of Luke's Jedi survivor students if they wanted to showcase his ruthlessness in the opening act of Force Awakens.
So... what did the same people that completely f**ked up SWTKOR decided hey let puts some lame dream sequence that resembles a the emperor fight with nonsensical land bridge in a void in to battlefront 2 so we can drive away the rest of the customer base.

And that's despite all of the work that the Clone Wars and Rebels did to better incorporate them. Tbf, I am very much of the opinion that no amount of shows can fix the sequels as generally very poor films. Bad Batch and Mandalorian did some narrative gymnastics to make the "Palpa-Clone" make sense. 😂😂
