Jeff, pro tip on the FD: If you’re not planning to follow FD commands, turn it off. Depending on what mode you are in, the auto thrust will follow FD commands. Also, in the real jet, I’ve had to counter induced roll on short final with full lateral stick deflection (during side gusts). When the flaps are fully extended, the flight control logic changes. If they modeled this, bravo!
Cannot believe it, The Jeff Favignano is actually doing a flight out of my home town, good to hear, I live literally 15 minutes away from Manchester it gets some great traffic including the Emirates a380, Qatar a350 and a whole load of others, great vid aswell keep making more like it 👍🏻❤️

@@thorgrimharryson2329 Not necessarily. I play MSFS 2020 on my Zephyrus G14 with all settings on Ultra and it takes it without breaking a sweat. ;)
Ps4 pro will be my last gaming system from Sony most likely. I will be doing a build because of this game. I'm currently running FSX on a Dell Inspiron without any mods. :)
Hundreds of hours as a flight attendant on board those EZY Airbus, and probably quite a few on this specific aircraft, Tango Whisky! Good memories.

Hello Jeff, IOM resident here. I honestly wouldn't have thought a RUclipsr I follow would do a IOM related video. Makes sense it would be an aviation channel though!
Sorry to report that EasyJet aren't flying to and fro from Ronaldsway atm, the latest statement from them is that they will recommence flights in September. Covid restrictions here mean it probably isn't that financially viable to fly to us, especially since our regs are quite different to those of the UK.
If I could make a suggestion, if the Q400 or E195 ever come along, would you consider doing a flight from/to Guernsey?
Their government-owned airline has provided an airbridge between the two as our Covid situations are quite stable.
I haven't been myself as the seats have sold fast, but I do love the Aurigny Airline colours!

Good job! I also experience the auto thrust over speed bug I just switch it off and back on and it sorts itself out. And it sucks the flare bank bug is still a thing :( hope ms show the airbus a lot of love in the next patch update. Fingers crossed. Can’t believe you didn’t experience the screens switching off on you that happens more often with me.

That’s really COOL
I am a real world airbus pilot. We normally start engine 1 first. The main reason is we can single engine taxi on engine 1 and use the Yellow system electric pump to keep the PTU from running. There is no way to keep the PTU from running with engine 2 until you start engine 1. It gets annoying for the passengers to listen to the PTU. I also flew the B737 and the reason we like to start engine 2 first is we can close the isolation valve and run the right Pack while starting engine one. Isolated and ventilate. I am based in Phoenix so it helps keep the cabin cool. I enjoy your videos, you do a great job!

Thank you so much for this video, Jeff. To my friends and community members, I seemed like a madman complaining about this devious bug, the a320 left bank flare issue. The problem is not everyone experiences it upon landing (although I seem to experience it more so than average...). This bug isn't written on the main bugs page list on MSFS 2020 forums, so every time I mention it, only the people that often fly the A320 and have experienced this issue can really vouch for me. I looked like a crazy person... I had no proof. This video however is proof enough! I can finally support my case with real footage on what happens during the flare bug when the aircraft starts banking left.

The IOM used to be my favourite sailing destination. Spent many a night anchored in the bay just to the left (south) of the runway watching the planes come and go. Guess that's all gone for good now.

@@Ok-rd1zd Hi Joe, there are some residents who can speak Manx, but it's few and far between in the grand scheme. There's one primary school on the island that teach solely in Manx, which is great! I know only a couple of words, that's it really.

It's almost like this game wasn't ready do release yet.
They definitely rushed it, it seemed like it only took them like 8 months to get where its at right now. Because I remember early this year they were just then adding commercial planes and then all of a sudden we got a gameplay trailer and then a few months later they released it.
A few more months definitely wouldn't have hurt it. Now they've got a lot of fixing to do, while they're also trying to get VR working close to the release of the G2.

Love the Fly by Wire A320, but the A320 itself needs so much more work! I'm sticking with the 208 and smaller for now.

Love your flight vids, I am no pilot and I would be too scared to get behind the yoke of an aircraft especially a commercial aircraft like the a320 or the Boeing 747. But your vids inspire me to do research in avionics and I learn so much from them even if I'll never use it, still cool to learn.
This game is a love hate relationship with me, especially since I play on Xbox and don't have access to all the controls. Furthermore, the Nav display loves cutting out mid-flight and recently had them cut out on me during final. lol.

Nice one Jeff, love me some EasyJet. If you're interested in using voice ATC, but not VATSIM etc, Pilot2ATC is something to look into maybe? Has a free trial, and the creator is super good with tech advice.
Can also use PACX to sim passengers and the like. Had to divert today because one was sick, pretty fun to reprogram the flight plan mid flight lol.

Dang Jeff had to go around once I've experienced wind like that in a mobile flight simulator called RFS it was a 15 knot crosswind into PDX And I had to go around twice so Ik what it feels like :)

Approach seemed a little high. I like to shoot difficult crosswind approaches low, dirty and with a lot of power. That way either I cut the power at the last second, or I compliment the power, and shoot up like an arrow if I mess up. You have to have that Navy Pilot hat on with those gnarly approaches, lol.
Glitches and Nonsense was the name of my band in high school.
I'm waiting for Honeycomb to restock.. That yoke and throttle look amazing.
You handled the adverse conditions (environmental + plane) well.
Can't say I've had the bank on final bug myself but I know plenty have. So weird.
