To avoid back overheating you have to put the camera in forced sleep mode between two sets by depressing simultaneously left and right buttons under the back-screen. The camera awakens without lag by just tipping shortly the shutter button. You will also have much longer lasting batteries
Without the grip, but with a right length neck strap, you can have a steadier set up for low light if you don't want to bring a tripod. I've been using the 907X for a while now, it's a great compact medium format if you can learn to steady your hands.
If you continue to love it with time you are going to have the opportunity to have one if you persevere and the nihiliss don't destroy our world before. We already have the 100c and the prices of used one are going dow.
I came across your videos recently. Loved your style! Definitely look forward to seeing more of your videos. About the camera, try holding it without the grip. Use your left hand to support the camera and press the shutter. It's old school, but you might enjoy the experience. I have my dad's old 500C and a couple of old lenses, so this camera is definitely high on my list to acquire.
It’s best suited to portrait / Studio. It’s not weather sealed. Hasselblad X100D and new lenses are much better suited to landscape and iffy weather. Good luck
Please don't comment when you don't know anything about this gear. This anniversary camera is equipped with a special edition of the XCD30 wide angle lens and the CFV II 50c back that is not at all meant for studio or portrait. This camera is a digital equivalent of the Hasselblad SWC The 907X is weather sealed with a rubber sealing plate on the digital back interface with the camera, a rubber sealing plate on the side door (battery and cards door) a rubber gasket on the lens bayonet and gaskets on focusing ring. X100D doesn't exist it's the X2D
That intro shot that is also the thumbnail... I was about to rage-comment sth about Ai, but then I saw it was real... What a gorgeous setup and shot 😍

I’m so jealous! That’s my dream camera. It’s beautifully crafted and I would love to do portraits with it!

I'm interested, how it's suited for street photography 🤔
