This seems like a neat idea in theory but in practice falls flat sadly. I think this could be useful for maybe ice fishing or just to drive around on a frozen lake for fun, but otherwise marketing it as an "Electric Snowboard" is a massive reach. Great video overall!
It looks like this thing requires bulletproof hard pack snow to work on, best conditions sounds like as close to frozen concrete you can get with 1 to 2 inches of snow.
This works as well as the snow scooter which was not well - it's nearly identical and works nearly identically, except the scooter was a bit worse because smaller contact patch on the sliding surface and less evenly distributed weight. What I need is a backpack tracked drone that can drag me up a hill then I can stick it in my pack and ride down.
So... What your saying is this board is completely useless unless you want to ride it on a road where you will inevitably crash and jack yourself up...... Keeping you from using an actual snowboard. Yeah.... Hard F'ing pass.
This makes me think of a 'street snowboard' that was out a while back. I wasn't able to find the one I originally thought of, but found 'Summerboard SBX'. Could this be a future video?
When the guy that casually goes 70mph on a glorified kick scooters says a product is too scary for him and only for those willing to take risks then you know that the board is a death trap.
😂 I’ve done 64 mph on a snowboard as well. So when I’m scared of a 31 mph contraption, you are right that it’s almost a death trap waiting to happen. My knee still hurts from the fall. 😂
u coulud use the batterys and speed controllers heat to heat up ur suit theres all ready lines ruining up to it. take the tire off tank treads your not spreading the weight properly
Not watched it yet, but that looks like a horrible concept. Snowboarding is a deft balance of micro movements and weight distribution. There’s no way this could be a good experience. My body hurts just thinking about all the edge catches.
Work hard, play harder is my motto. I’ve worked since I was 10. Made a lot of money and been broke many times taking risk. Luckily, I’ve learned from all my mistakes and keep taking risks.
Hello IM NOTORIOUS IRBY IN NEWARK NEW JERSEY YES ANDREW I HOPE YOUR RIGTH HAND PINKY FINGER IS BETTER JUST PLEASE BE CAREFUL I KNOW YOU LOVE TO RIDE SO I HOPE YOU IS OK FROM NOTORIUS IRBY 👈👈👍🙏💯🌍🙏✌️🕊️🏁

I'd be way more into a 4 wheel drive longboard with tracks.
the price is 2,500 for anybody wondering. saved you the trip to their website
I need to find a friend like Andrew
It looks like this thing requires bulletproof hard pack snow to work on, best conditions sounds like as close to frozen concrete you can get with 1 to 2 inches of snow.
It's a cool concept. I think if they put a second wheel & motor in the front it would work better.
Stoked to see you tried it on a frozen lake like I suggested for ice fishing!

The wheel is the problem needs to be more of a mini track with bigger paddles if you want it to work on anything but flat groomed
Yeah I'll catch some ghosts with that brick😮
So... What your saying is this board is completely useless unless you want to ride it on a road where you will inevitably crash and jack yourself up...... Keeping you from using an actual snowboard. Yeah.... Hard F'ing pass.
Better of with a snow scooter or surron.
Sorry to hear and see what's been going on with you and Rion/PEV. hope something can be resolved and all this mess goes away.
This seems like it would be ideal if you live in a snowy city and need to get around the streets where you cant drive. Good stuff!
Wow, no comments on electric snowboard yet? :)
Andrew, don't eat the yellow snow!
On the slopes, Andrew’s nickname IS “The Yellow Snow”
Look up a summer board!
This makes me think of a 'street snowboard' that was out a while back. I wasn't able to find the one I originally thought of, but found 'Summerboard SBX'. Could this be a future video?
Would be great for the flat spots
When the guy that casually goes 70mph on a glorified kick scooters says a product is too scary for him and only for those willing to take risks then you know that the board is a death trap.

I bet this would work great on loose dirt or gravel
u coulud use the batterys and speed controllers heat to heat up ur suit theres all ready lines ruining up to it.
take the tire off tank treads your not spreading the weight properly
I get that this is for snowboarders but I'm pretty sure I was going faster on my begode master in the way deeper snow.
I wonder how it would do with a dual motor system with one on tip and tail? Of course that would probably turn it into a 50lb beast
looks cool, long way to go with refinement!
Seems like the definition of "a solution to a problem that doesn't exists"
A solution that fails to solve the problem. You'd be better to just get a fat Tyre e bike...
Let’s go! 🎉
Seems like such a niche project it’s hard to imagine it being a success.
😳 Drop from a helicopter? You guys must of won the jackpot at the lottery, no doubt.
I think the idea is good, but the design needs to be less of a snowboard, more of a mini snowmobile that you can strap your feet on.
Bonkers but brilliant
Seems like it would only be good for hard packed snow
2500 seems pretty reasonable for that package, I have no idea how they make a profit
So we doing a tree run again or what 😂
Let’s go! I would have been up there with this last storm but I’m in Phoenix. Soon brother!
NICE
*Yewwwh!*
⚡️🤟🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️
🤙
My favorite words when hitting a powder field…. Yewwwwwww!
That would be cool w/ a skateboard truck on the front....
Where did you purchase it? He is from Russia? was it invented and made in Russia?
Needs a tire with deeper knobs
The snowboard equivalent of clown shoes.
Use on frozen lake
I tried it on the lake but it had too much snow on it. It would do great on a lake with one inch of snow or less.
The battery for that thing looks like a ghost trap
Jimmy’s son said it looked just like the Ghostbusters machine to trap ghosts. 😂
If a one wheel feels more like a snowboard than an actual electric snowboard does, it may be time to go back to the drawing board.
😬
this is NOT a new idea. there was one that was always advertised in TWsnow and Snowboarder back in the 90s
Longer flaps sonic ice shit
süper micro mobilty
not everything has to be motorized
Looks like junk really
Useless!
How about electric ski?
No more chairlift!?
Looks so silly!
thats horrible 2,500 ide assume u can get sum typa cheap snowmobile to work on for that price
lol
How can you start selling a product when it's not even proven/working is beyond me.
Nothing says, “I’m from the bay”. More than this guy… factor in the one wheel talk in the beginning… oh man… 🤦♂️
Not watched it yet, but that looks like a horrible concept. Snowboarding is a deft balance of micro movements and weight distribution. There’s no way this could be a good experience.
My body hurts just thinking about all the edge catches.
Watched it. It was even worse than I expected. The battery is ridiculous.
How the hell do these things get funded?!?!
Dude... slap on some skins and get some work done.... then rip. Earn it.
Is Andrew rich? or is being dropped from helicopters is normal?
Work hard, play harder is my motto. I’ve worked since I was 10. Made a lot of money and been broke many times taking risk. Luckily, I’ve learned from all my mistakes and keep taking risks.
@@Andrew-vt4jt kinda wonder what industry you are working in, but if you don't wanna talk about it it's cool, love your contento! Keep it up!
hard pass
Clearly didn't pay for it to not totally rip the hell out of this rubbish.
It’s kind of a functional scam
This thing is terrible
Hello IM NOTORIOUS IRBY IN NEWARK NEW JERSEY YES ANDREW I HOPE YOUR RIGTH HAND PINKY FINGER IS BETTER JUST PLEASE BE CAREFUL I KNOW YOU LOVE TO RIDE SO I HOPE YOU IS OK FROM NOTORIUS IRBY 👈👈👍🙏💯🌍🙏✌️🕊️🏁
so i dont need to buy a lift ticket because this takes me up the slope?
It is designed for flat and semi grade terrain. It wouldn’t make it up a ski hill.
