If you’re not doing anything too heavy they’re not bad. I ride tensor lows tho so I’m used to getting a little wheel bite, the suspension truck’s definitely make it bite harder but I’d say it’s just as often.

I have these on my board. Bamboo/maple deck, Avenue suspension trucks and Ricta Cloud wheels. It does have a lot of pop and a softer landing which feels nice and more buoyant, however familiar flips can feel weird to pull off compared to a more standard setup.

@ryo-kai8587 that's dope to see they are still around. They used to send me the boards during the sponsorship... but what i noticed is that they lost pop faster than maple even though waaay lighter. I never broke one, though.
They are great for a cruise board, with soft big wheels. For the park not so much, most people use small super hard wheels and regular stiff trucks and rely on adjusting with power slides since you literally can drift with those and also smaller wheels don't bite into stuff when doing grinds/slides.

@@d0m1n1cc you fr? My buddy Willy is struggling with ketamine addiction and sold his skateboard to a pawn shop just the other night in order to get another gram off big man penile.
Love them and have been skating them for years. If you like street skating these are the trucks for you. They look nice, ride beautifully, and you can get some crazy pop. They are pricy but they last and can take a beating. You won’t have to worry about the bend breaking. When I say I put these things through the ringer I put them through it. I also got the 2.0 and their lighter then the original and look great.
seems like I'm not even close to the only one that knows from experience that based on the design and material both having serious issues with ware/wear and tare and being high maintenance with very few small to no specific benefits.. these trucks aren't for experienced skaters that do lots of tricks and grinds on a daily basis, imo, I bet they would be best on a longboard or other boards also meant for flatland cruising styles of skating..
Oh wow ! I would think you'd get less pop . I honestly had been thinking about this concept for a while specifically to do with the trucks having some kind of shocks suspension to help with impact but I thought it might slow you way down but it looks like it works great
I remember when avenue was just a kickstarter. I ended up getting them a few years ago and I dont think I could ever go back. They are insanely smooth, fast, and honestly help ease impact a ton. I would highly recommend them.
Dang those look sick but ima have to stick with the original ones the suspense ones with give you to much wheel bite and you will get called out for “cheating”
It's not cheating. Normal trucks, and suspension trucks both have their own pros, and cons. Normal trucks are going to have aspects about them that are better than suspension trucks. Is it cheating to use normal trucks then? Also, who gives a shit if some kid "calls you out" for riding different trucks? I say "kid" because it's typically only kids that do things like that. They've got spring loaded regular 6-in trucks also. A couple E-skatets in my FB group have them. There are like pkp, but it's actually an rkp with an extra mechanism that has shocks.
Those yellow bumps are for those who are visually impaired. They're used to guide them via feeling for them with their canes and it can indicate the edge of stuff for them
