Out now via BMG, the folk-rock legend and cultural force for over fifty years, continues his late period renaissance with the release of David Crosby & The Lighthouse Band Live at the Capitol Theatre.
One of the greatest songs of all time given a uplifting new lease of life by the brilliant Lighthouse Band. Taken from the forthcoming CD/DVD recorded live at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester. NY in December 2018.
Continuing to forge new paths in his eighth decade, Crosby again joins forces with Becca Stevens, Michelle Willis and Michael League, the three musicians known as The Lighthouse Band, who he’s been working with since 2016’s Lighthouse album.
Here they are performing their arrangement of the classic Joni Mitchell song 'Woodstock' at The Capitol Theatre on the 8th December 2018.
Crosby is a huge loss. A genuine counter-culture icon. Thanks for the music, Croz.

I worked with David and Jan for about a month a year ago. I was thrilled beyond meeting him. His voice was just as beautiful as ever! However, for me, he has always been in my life with all his songs. I am beyond words with the loss and especially for his love, Jan! Rest in peace my friend, we will meet again!
Still had an amazing voice there despite all the health struggles. Well I guess he is back in the garden now... RIP and thank you for all the beautiful music David.
Wow, I started to play the guitar in 1973 after listening to the four way streets album. His legendary music has accompanied me throughout my life until now. A piece of my heart died with him, but his songs will live on forever

Together with CPR and the Lighthouse Band, Crosby in his last years produced some outstanding music. I love the simplicity and the absence of drums. Wonderful stuff! He left a fabulous legacy of music and performance.

Joni Mitchell is such a great songwriter for someone who couldn't make it and come up with one of the greatest songs. The image she paints i want to go to Joni Mitchell's Woodstock. It's amazing the reality of the concert is nowhere near the imagination Joni Mitchell depicts.

to help me through a difficult pregnancy.
That music literally kept me from despair..
In 1984 went into labor at the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach..David was so ill but performed so beautifully.
Have seen him play five times..
Still so stuck on Croz I've not yet gotten the new ones.
It's a miracle this man, who writes spiritual ,deeply nuanced music.
