Thanks for posting this build! I haven't assembled a metal earth kit yet, but I am really eager to give it a try after seeing you assemble one. I have a much better idea what these kits are about now. With the high cost of model kits (and virtually everything else in our challenging times) these are still pretty reasonable off of Amazon. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos. 👍
These are so fun! And for the cost they are really good quality. I've done a few now and I just bought another one not too long ago. They can be very addicting once you get used to assembling them lol
BECAUSE OF YOU I am going to try this. I had seen these kits Before and Kinda rejected the idea. From YOUR Demonstration, I ‘get it’ now and Will Give it a Go. When Finished turns into Expensive looking Little Dust Collectors to be Displayed On a Shelf and Admired. Already thinking of Building Tiny plex Display enclosures with Led Lighting To protect and Take it to next level. Thanks🎉
metal earth kits are very nice, I find that working on one is quite relaxing for me. when your done, you have a great little model! metal earth kits are not the only kits like this, but they are the original. I think you did a great job on this.
Thank you very much! The thing I like about them is that they are challenging but inexpensive, and the quality and look is very nice and something that you want to display.
I can build the smaller ones in about 2-3 hours, give or take a bit. But it varies based on how detailed they are, and if you are familiar with the assembly process. I would estimate 2-3 hours, but just go at your own pace and take your time with them. :)
Lol! Yea, I use needle nose pliers, but tweezers would be helpful. Just take your time, that's the key is to not rush the build. Hope your build goes well!

Welcome to the addiction! lol In all seriousness though, they are a lot of fun, and they look really good. Hope your build goes well!

I spend all my f.... day in this toy. But thanks 4 the support!
My sister gave me one as a Christmas gift for this year.
Awesome!
well done that looks really good, love the shine off these models.
Thank you! They can be very shiny! I have three more that I will be building too.
Thanks for posting! About to build this myself. I love your cozy hobby corner 😍cool bookshelf
Thank you so much! This is a fun build, just take your time with it. Hope it turns out great!
just got half way done, these small pieces are gonna be the death of me
Yea, this one is a challenge. Just take it slow, and do one piece at a time. You got this!
Upgraded puzzle experience!!
It is! A challenging but cool puzzle!
I just got one for Xmas and I'm excited but feel mentally challenged
Take your time with it, and don’t rush. Also read the instructions carefully. These are a lot of fun!
That’s really cool !!
I threw mine in the bin after 40 minutes, you need eye sight like a hawk and dexterity of an octupus and about a year to complete it
LOL! It definitely takes patience, skill maybe, but no matter how skilled you are you will need patience.
Ty for this :3 i rlly needed this cheers!
Glad I could help! I hope your build comes out well!
@@thewoolpack wanna see a picture :D
I didn't have Piers so I used nail clippers
Hey, if that works then that's a good tip to remember!
Hey how long do these kits normally take to build?
I can build the smaller ones in about 2-3 hours, give or take a bit. But it varies based on how detailed they are, and if you are familiar with the assembly process.

@thewoolpack appreciate the response I do models on twitch and was looking at ones that take a while do it's not costing loads 😂
sadly that long round dish broke for me but I will try to somewhat fix it
That's difficult when they break, but sometimes you can fix it with a small amount of super glue. I hope you are able to fix it and finish the build!
These are very addictive, a large magnifying glass would've helped...
I didn't think of using a magnifying glass, that would help. And yes, these are very addictive!
Would you say this is a good first kit. I do a lot of plastic amd wood kits but never metal.
Did you only need tweezers for this set?? Looks amazing!
I mainly just use needle nose pliers when assembling these. Those work great for all the various pieces.
They're cool but so small!
They are small, but they do have bigger sets called Iconx that are quite a bit bigger. they still have small pieces though!
Are these paintable?
They are made of steel so you could paint them. They also make pre-painted models too.
Yeah can't do this without tweezers
Lol! Yea, I use needle nose pliers, but tweezers would be helpful. Just take your time, that's the key is to not rush the build. Hope your build goes well!
