    Thanks for posting this build! I haven't assembled a metal earth kit yet, but I am really eager to give it a try after seeing you assemble one. I have a much better idea what these kits are about now. With the high cost of model kits (and virtually everything else in our challenging times) these are still pretty reasonable off of Amazon. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos. 👍

      These are so fun! And for the cost they are really good quality. I've done a few now and I just bought another one not too long ago. They can be very addicting once you get used to assembling them lol

    BECAUSE OF YOU
    I am going to try this. I had seen these kits
    Before and Kinda rejected the idea.
    From YOUR Demonstration, I ‘get it’ now
    and Will Give it a Go.
    When Finished turns into Expensive looking
    Little Dust Collectors to be Displayed
    On a Shelf and Admired.
    Already thinking of Building Tiny plex
    Display enclosures with Led Lighting
    To protect and Take it to next level.
    Thanks🎉

    metal earth kits are very nice, I find that working on one is quite relaxing for me. when your done, you have a great little model! metal earth kits are not the only kits like this, but they are the original. I think you did a great job on this.

      Thank you very much! The thing I like about them is that they are challenging but inexpensive, and the quality and look is very nice and something that you want to display.

    I threw mine in the bin after 40 minutes, you need eye sight like a hawk and dexterity of an octupus and about a year to complete it

      LOL! It definitely takes patience, skill maybe, but no matter how skilled you are you will need patience.

    Hey how long do these kits normally take to build?

    • @thewoolpack
      @thewoolpack  11 месяцев назад

      I can build the smaller ones in about 2-3 hours, give or take a bit. But it varies based on how detailed they are, and if you are familiar with the assembly process.
      I would estimate 2-3 hours, but just go at your own pace and take your time with them. :)

    sadly that long round dish broke for me but I will try to somewhat fix it

    • @thewoolpack
      @thewoolpack  2 года назад

      That's difficult when they break, but sometimes you can fix it with a small amount of super glue. I hope you are able to fix it and finish the build!

    Would you say this is a good first kit. I do a lot of plastic amd wood kits but never metal.

    Did you only need tweezers for this set?? Looks amazing!

    • @thewoolpack
      @thewoolpack  4 года назад +2

      I mainly just use needle nose pliers when assembling these. Those work great for all the various pieces.

  • @smartass23t

    • @thewoolpack
      @thewoolpack  2 года назад +2

      They are made of steel so you could paint them. They also make pre-painted models too.

  • @carbful

    Yeah can't do this without tweezers

    • @thewoolpack
      @thewoolpack  3 года назад

      Lol! Yea, I use needle nose pliers, but tweezers would be helpful. Just take your time, that's the key is to not rush the build. Hope your build goes well!
