  • Took me about a year to find the original stereo in working condition. This one came all the way from Belarus!
    It only took about 10 minutes to swap the CD player out. Now the car is back to stock with the cassette player and cassette holder. Just need to swap out speakers now - these are shot - and find my wife and I'd old cassettes...or find some on ebay...
    I decided to go this route to get the car back to stock and because it is far easier to add a Bluetooth cassette adapter or cassette aux cable than it is to add those to an older CD player.

    Awesome video. Glad it was a simple swap. And those head unit clips were STANDARD EQUIPMENT for all dealers back in the day. I had a set in my desk at the Ford dealer I sold cars at. 👍👍 And GREAT cassette choices. 👍
