I've been playing sub sim games for a very long time now, loved the silent hunter series and still regularly play 3. Been hooked on UBOAT since it was available and glad to see mods for it.
Yeah let us still turn on the pump but if the boats got over 1m in the bilge then at least let us know. I've popped in to see my crew happily wandering around in knee deep water.
The real ship names mod another mod that doesn't change gameplay at all but adds to the immersion. Also while not stream-friendly, definitely give the Das Boot soundtrack mod a go sometime, definitely adds a bit of fun when that chase music starts up when you are near an enemy convoy lol.
thanks for doing this video I had no idea how to do these mods .living u boats sounds fantastic so I'm going to install that for sure.It would be awesome if someone could do a bear island u boat base mod.come on guys you can do it. cheers Taff.

I have a question. I am using Steam to play Uboat on a mac computer (2015). Since Uboat is only pc format. I don't have the actual game on my mac, since everything is on the Nvidia geforce/ Steams cloud. Some of the mods I subscribed to seem to be working : like exhaust and perhaps harbor mod (adding more ships). But others like the TDC mod have not come up in game play. After I subscribe and download I go back to the page Library 14:20. The button says install (not play) and no window opens up when I click. Does this mean I need to have the game on my computer? Unfortunately when I start the game and get to the play window; with the news and mod button, when I click on the mod button none of the mods appear on the left. So I can't enable the mods that may need to be enabled. If I start a new game, will the TDC mode be enabled? How do I get the list of mods to appear in the News Mod Play window? Thanks. I am looking forward to the update on June 26th.
this game is great but when you save it bugs and can't complete missions such as Scapa flow, etc... Been stuck on this for awhile, finally found the Royal Oak and i sunk her but died before i got away... so the next time i got in close i saved just before firing at her... now, whenever i load that save and sink her, it won't register as sunk, even tho she is at the bottom of the bay! quite annoying

i play with 5 fps because of my bad graphic card. is amd radeon r5 and i dont understand to overlock. The programs AMD ryzen is not for my card and overdrive doesnt work on windows 10. i can change in biostar but this is very dangerous for me as pc noob.
Yes! I'd like to see the type IX boats and do some sailing to the east coast of the US and down into the Gulf of Mexico to sink tankers. Wouldn't mind Type II's for European coastal patrols either and allow a wider range of play styles and experiences. Definitely a campaign is needed and an upgrade for the deck gun to allow a 10.5cm option. An option also for the map to bring it close to Silent Hunter III's would be a welcome addition and even visual effects like the water running down the periscope lens once it breaks the surface of the water.
@@DavideM1996 If you want to talk about the small flags displaying the different tonnage of ships sunk during the patrol on the way back from port… Why not that would be good!

Pity no mod for allowing circling torps, so subs being attacked by a destroyer, can fire a circulating torp from the rear tube then crash dive quickly. Any destroyers moving over the sub, would be in danger of being hit by the circulating torp.

Fun fact: there was actually one sub v sub battle, the U boat won by firing torpedoes at varying depths and got 1 hit that devastated the british sub.

I know I'm a year late, but NexusMods is where I would get them. You will have to Google to see where to drop the files. I havent done it this way
