Completely unrelated to this brilliant video but I kinda need to thank you for making that end of year favorites video including Brooklyn AND for describing its thesis the way you did. It’s possibly the most personally important movie I’ve ever experienced and a paramount piece of media that’s helped me survive my 20s so far. Idk if I would’ve ever seen it if I didn’t love your videos/ admire your perspective. Cheers from Chicago!!
I appreciate that Mac starts out trying to share the story of what happened to his comrades, but gets completely sidetracked by his geography argument with Blair, who is at this point a bit too dead for this to matter in the slightest.
I’ll admit, I spent the whole main essay thinking the continued denial of there being a musical was a build-up to you reviewing the Legolambs song with complete befuddlement and delight. While I’m a bit disappointed you didn’t cover that, I do respect the hell out of you for making your own song. Very well done on structuring, lyrics, and production of the whole thing, including the video edit! Thanks for this gift ❤
