Comic Assignment reading

As part of the final for my college course on comic books, I was tasked to write and illustrate my own comic. This is the result. I briefly talk about the class and some of the required readings I enjoyed as well as added some commentary on the situations throughout my story. This is the first time I ever attempted to draw anything whether it be paper or digitally so it was really difficult and I have learned that I will not be quitting my day job. Essentially I just image searched the emotions I wanted to portray and did my best at recreating...even that was really difficult, so all you illustrators and comic book writers are amazing! I'd also like to add that I took this course for credit towards my associates in CULINARY, so yanno I went into this not really knowing anything about comics to developing an appreciation towards what it takes to develop comics and graphic novels. I really truly did enjoy the class. This is my first and only comic, such exclusive!!!
