Sorry I missed this when it came out but when you posted this I was in Las Vegas and while I was there, I visited Kiss World and kiss monster mini golf. Yes, you want to go there.
Beacon Theatre is visually stunning. One of the most classy bootleg album designs and love the B&W. Sonically it matches the Happy New Year atrocity from a few years back. 😂 But the complete packaging makes up for it. Knoxville is a great show from, indeed, the Sam Loomis leaks. When you listen the show you’ll hear Peter is drumming at an insane speed as he had too much “catnip” (read:cocaine) that night. Hence the title I guess. Many of the photos in the booklet were from a Dutch music magazine that came in tow of the filmcrew for the Dutch TV show Countdown who filmed an interview before the show. The Gene and Paul photo you show is from the interview. The magazine was either Popfoto or Muziek Express. Roosevelt IS a SB and not an AUD recording. The SB is actually a line feed from the video and the microphone for the audience sound was oddly placed hence the occassional shouts like “Step on it, demon!” and the excellent “Goodnight, my ass!” after 50 minutes into the show🤣😂 The placement of the audience microphone is also something you hear on the legendary official Rolling Stones live album Get Yet Ya Ya’s Out from 1969: “Paint it Black, Paint it Black, you devil!” And you did save the best for last @monkey mid ! Love that Elder box set. Also chose the Pink one.😊👍🏻 Love it. Great quality pressing, beautiful hot pink clear vinyl and nice extras and an excellent sound. Great and fun video as always.
My first Concert was KISS Dynasty Tour at Madison Square Garden . I still have my program. Were can I find That Concert on vinyl. And I just discovered you channel and it's Electric!!!
Hello from France, need help please from KISS FANS!! I have a question about the 1975 Magna Graphics Studio Demos : If I understand the various 1975 demos story correctly, there are only: God Of Thunder & RNR + Detroit Rock City + Love Is Alright + I Don't Want No Romance + RNRolls Royce+ Star >> available as OFFICIAL VINYL (45 anniversary 2LP version SIDE : C ), the full demos are only available on CD2 of the superdeluxe 2021 5-CD & bluray box set. I've got the bootleg LP ''First I Drink And Then I Smoke'' in stock... is it still worth having this version? Any help from Kiss fans is most welcome...... THANKS!!!!
Now… URE BACK, can u please do a show about kiss vinyl values? I have some very rare pieces. Eg, an unopened copy of the originals ( first print) + a two record set, white label, single sided 12” copy of Love gun. In a plain white sleeve( attained from a friend in the USA) + many many rare radio station vinyls. … the list is endless. + all early bootlegs, 2 kiss cartons… both on different labels( dragonfly+🤔 can u guess the other? ) And so many unopened box sets. I baught, looked at, put in collection. So much. But? Can I find anyone who gives values on the tube? NOPE! They show their collections… that’s it! Ime 57, time to let go. And I have memorabilia, figures including unopened 24” destroyer set etc etc. any idea? Best regards, Dave( formerly from Blackpool UK) Australia. 🙌🙌🦘🦘🦘
Hi Dave. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to do a show with regards to values of Kiss vinyl. The best place to find out values of Kiss vinyl would be Discogs. Sounds like you have some rare Kiss vinyl going on. Facebook would be another place to go to, just join a Kiss vinyl group and I am sure you find the answers you are looking for. Good luck my friend.
It certainly sounds like an audience recording as you can hear people talking and screaming. You would not hear the audience talking or screaming on a mixing desk recording. However I have to say it is a very good audience recording!
@@monkeymid4242 Like you say in your latest video "I'm not explaining this again, 'cause I can't be bothered". So Roosevelt is a pro shot video, I hope you know that as it's one of the most known videos of Kiss from the 70's. The audio you're listening to is a rip of the camera audio from that video. So it's not an AUD recording from someone in the audience, but it's the audio from the cameras, which may sometimes have audible noises from someone in the audience depending on how near they stand the cameras. That's why you hear people and that's why it's way better than your average AUD tape from the 70's and 80's.
