Limbo.. The area where you go before you die... In the game story, the boy died at the beginning of the game, where he went to confront his most darkest fears inside Limbo, but at the moment he saw his sister (a glimpse of being alive), which made him confront the fears until the very end.. At the end part, we see him brought back to life, where we see him come back at the 1st part of the game, but this time, he's not in Limbo, but in real life, there he saw his sister again.
This game is genius. Black and white, silhouettes, no music. The creator pretty much gave us the platform for us to use our imagination and paint in our worst nightmares.
I've never seen this game before, but the whole time in watching I'm like Jesus Christ where does this kid live? damn he's metal. he didn't even wince when he tore the last arm off that spider
Answer to the first question: it's because of the worm on his head. You can only change direction when the guy/player run into somewhere that has light. Look at the gameplay carefully and you'll know (start from 37:00) For question two, I don't know...

Just for your Information: Nearly all Speedruns are done in japanese versions of the Game because the text parts are smaller than they are in the english versions. That safes time. Not in Limbo but in other games like Zelda, Super Mario etc
I think the ending is that The kid dies while falling over the tree but her sister is alive and if you see closely you'll see that she's trying to kind of "Revive" him. the kid had to go through limbo and then she feels his essence.
I had one life left for ages, got through all the end parts with it when you win the trophy like that its sort of epic, because I really didnt practice the end bit more than once and thought I'd die

It's abusing a mechanism of the game, and is on the same level of RPG, over shield spamming in Halo. Kudos to you for playing the right way.

I think my game has a flaw... when it, at 21:09, the one does not go that deep, so the small one stays deep too and its impossible to reach the edge... any ideas?

I never could get through it without dying... Even after documenting every deadly trap, there was still human error on my part... Nice job..!!
