If you are looking for more experimental material from them you might want to check out Amnesiac, Kid A’s sister album. It’s not quite as cohesive but it’s very experimental and there are some incredible standout tracks
their most experimental album i would say is the king of limbs and the last four tracks on it are amazing. i think you might cry to in rainbows. i know i have countless times.
My two favs on this album are Sub. Home. Alien and The Tourist but it took me decades to come to that conclusion. It's a special album. I'd would consider watching the The Basement session for In Rainbows because the live versions are, believe it or not, better than the album somehow.
I actually found it interesting and kinda courageous that you cried during Kid A. I don't think I could open myself up like that on camera, I wouldn't say. I try to say to myself, cry if it feels right, laugh if it feels right, not telling you what to do, it's just my mantra, I guess. Give it another listen some time, it might grow more on you, this album, it's a thing that happens to people. You're gonna love In Rainbows. Check out The Smile, a side project of Radiohead involving the lead singer and lead guitarist and a drummer from a different band. They've 2 brilliant albums out in the last couple of years. Really good. You'll really like it, I think. Saw them live recently, BRILLIANT.
i couldn’t hold it back lol, i woke up really emotional that morning from personal issues i’ve been dealing with and i’ve truly never had a song affect me like that one did, I’ve never cried listening to a song ive never heard before previously.
If you like sort of peculiar weird experimental you should check out will wood/will wood and the tapeworms, some of my favourites, those dudes are awesome. Kind of Mr.bungle-ey on some tracks
You don’t like any kind of challenging emotional tone or atonality in a song. A band like Radiohead isn’t gonna be for you. You should stick to your pop music. It won’t challenge you. It’s all safe. No spice.
In Rainbows Next...
Favorites - Paranoid Android, Subterranean Homesick Alien, No Surprises, The Tourist
Least Favorite - Karma Police

@@illusion8457I agree with you! Most people won’t admit it but it’s true!! 😋
The Tourist is my favorite song of all time.

King of Limbs is like In Rainbows sibling, and I would argue In Rainbows is pretty accessible so I actually sort of disagree with you
Kudos for picking up on the splendid Let Down on a first listen. It takes most folks a few to get it,
I love that your favourites on a first listen were all the tracks I consider to be underrated gems on this album. The Tourist though...right?
It took years to come to the conclusion that Climbing Up The Walls is the best song on the album.
the tourist is literally everything

@@whoisdonnieboi I've ran out of bcnr reactions icl 😭😭
ok computer is an experimental album if you compare it with the previous one, that's why you should have listened to the albums chronologically
In rainbows is going to absolutely blow your mind
i can’t wait, i’m most likely gonna check it out later today
What would you say is your favourite song of all time?
hard to pick, what genre any?
@@whoisdonnieboi yeah any genre
Favorite Radiohead track so far after 2 albums?
How to Disappear Completely easily, second best would have to be The Tourist

He literally cried to How to Disappear. Musical snobbery is so gross.
