How come don't use the remakes like the 2013 versions of Sonic 1 or 2 the jam version of Sonic 3 (or Sonic 3 air) or the saturn version of 3d blast

I'm afraid I'm a little outdated for tech so I really don't have access to the newer versions. I've tried downloading a Saturn emulator once before and I couldn't get it to work, besides I enjoy the Genesis soundtrack of 3D Blast much more than the Saturn. That's not saying Saturn is bad, that's just my preference...
