I did the Indian Pacific a month ago. This makes me want to do it again. Definitely want to spend more time in Perth too

What an incredible experience, just shows what a vast continent Australia really is! The train journey is a perfect way to get to the other side if you have the time, why fly! Plus the journey from London must've been brilliant flying direct to Perth. Enjoy yourselves can't wait to follow as I am plotting WA for later in 2024.

Thank you so much for your comments 😁. The flight, although long was a good one. Watch out for our cruise around New Zealand over the next few weeks. Safe travels for your trip later in the year.

The train does actually stop at Rawlinna if you come from east to west.

Great video we are doing it in a few weeks. Can I ask what happens to your cabin bags when you do the Blue Mountains? I didn't see many people in video with bags, so do leave in cabin then pick up in Sydney. Thanks

Thanks you. Your suitcases are stored on the train with no access to them. That’s why you take cabin bags with you. When you leave the train for the blue mountains your suitcases and cabin bags carry on to Sydney where they are waiting for you on the platform. 👍

Very good video,it’s on my bucket list also, was planning to do it in September but plans change.I like the fact that you can fly directly from London to Perth directly.10years ago I did the ghan train from Darwin to Adelaide as a birthday present to myself.

Thank you 🤗 both the flight and the train were all about the journey. Our 1st trip on a sleeper train and we loved it. Have been told the Ghan is an even better experience and hope to get back to experience it in the next few years. Happy travels 😎👍
