- Hey sub family, I recommend you changing your spark plugs
between 30,000 and 100,000 miles. Typically, your owner's manual will give a recommendation as to how often to change your vehicle's spark plugs, somewhere between 30,000 and 100,000 miles. Also there are spark plugs on the market that promise to last 100,000 miles easy. These are the several types of spark plugs for your kia spectra I recommend: NGK Ruthenium HX Spark Plug 96457, Bosch Double Iridium Spark Plug 9600, Denso Iridium Spark Plug 3356, NGK IX Iridium Spark Plug 5464. When changing your spark plugs on your Kia Spectra Ex 2004-2009 I do recommend you to also change out your Spark Plug Wire as well.
The spark plug gap on a Kia Spectra should be [Gap 0.044]. I would also recommend platinum- or iridium-tipped spark plugs because they are engineered to last up to 100,000 miles.

Ugh I wanna do this myself’
My 07 spectra 5 SX is rattling when cold starting but it stops as I gear into drive but I can tell misfiring, any body have this issue with this kia.
