Also you won’t get the doll in the picture many are reporting they are getting dolls from the dollar store.

Blank, unpainted reborn doll kits cost anywhere from $60 to $200 so painted reborn dolls cost anywhere from $200 to $2000. Be careful if a beautiful reborn is $80 its most likely a scam.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend reborns.com. It is NOT a scam website but is a website where *REAL* reborn artists gather to sell their dolls. You can sort by price if you’re on a budget and there’s so many different dolls to chose from.

@@LambysNursery since this post I have stumbled across people on Etsy selling "reborn" dolls that are just dolls they bought off Amazon. The only difference is the price, they're charging at least double, sometimes 4 times as much bc on Etsy people think they're getting something that is handmade. I have reported several people but there are so many. Scammers are the worst!

You are so amazing for taking the time to do this and I am so grateful. I know these dolls have a lot of controversy around them and I have always wanted one. After being told I would never be able to have another child, my reborn baby has helped me to heal. Of course, it never replaces the real thing and I'm lucky enough to have managed to have two children. Regardless, it's NEVER easy to hear from a doctor that you will never be able to have another baby again. These babies helping people to heal and it has definitely helped me with this grieving process. Plus, my kids think they're wicked cool and they are incredibly educational. I almost ordered from a scam website before I saw your video and I'm so grateful. Expecting and waiting for a lifelike doll, only to receive something so obviously NOT what you paid for is a gut punch. Especially if you're using it to aid yourself in a grieving process. So again, thanks.
I wish there were something we could do to prosecute them all and get them offline! Until then information is key. I was scammed and warning others especially newbies like me, is a great and wonderful thing. Much love ❤

I tried twice threw a company called trendscoming.com and another called pearlgobuy.com and what they do is send you a cheap $2-$5 doll and tell you it's popular with there customers and you can keep it and they will refund 40% of your money and that's how they make a profit or they tell you to Shipp it back and and they will refund all but you pay shipping out of you refund and at that point you still lose

I was just scammed out of 40 pounds by rsg dolls 💔 they sent me a whole different doll which looks nothing reborn like or anything like I ordered and they're trying to convince me that it the same doll. I've waited a whole week excited to see my doll and now I'm heartbroken. Wish I had seen this video beforehand , but now I know I need to properly check the websites before buying .
I was looking at this website for a gift so glad I found this.

Thanks so much for the info, so helpful. I ordered one for my daughter for Christmas last year and was scammed, luckily I didn't end up having to pay for it.
One of the biggest problems with these scam websites is they can keep changing their names or pop up a new one that is a week old and keep producing the same scammy tactics as before. While listing the ones you did is fine, chances are the old names will be gone/obsolete by the time someone watches them. (There are scam ads on game apps that show real puppies they advertise as "dolls" and the company name is different LITERALLY every time the ad airs.) A better option would probably be to list the better known, reputable websites or channels that people can go to where the images are being stolen from. Just beware of web addresses that are similar but not identical to the legit ones posted.
I’m so very sorry this video is not to your liking! I’ve actually made several videos on this topic! One talks about how to find authentic dolls, there’s this one, another talks about authentic places to find reborns and how to avoid scams, and now I’m doing a series about affordable options.

It’s horrible, being scammed... I got conned when I bought a couple of preloved babies - the photos and descriptions were nice, but the babies that arrived were in awful condition, and one stank to high Heaven of smoke, and the smoker tried to disguise the smell with a scent sachet, which made the smell even more disgusting. I felt so upset, because the stinky baby had such a happy face, but I couldn’t bond with her until I can find the time to sort her out - she’s been in her box for the last 2 years now.

Never be afraid to ask for a personal photo of the doll before you buy from some sites, one they do not have listed on their site with a notecard for authenticity. Just asked for one from Kaydora and the picture they sent me looked nothing like the doll i was interested in -_- complete scam.

Thank you for posting this! I collect reborn werepup dolls and one of the reborn sites I looked at had pics of Asia Eriksens Robbie dolls stolen from her website! They wanted $99.00 for a completed doll when the kits,if you can find one are $150.00 and up!
I almost bought a silicone baby unicorn and something looked off about the site so I passed. Glad I did because the very next day the site disappeared and another one popped up in it's place.

So, what if you want a doll but can’t afford a $1K plus ?……that seems like that starting cost of these dolls. It’s not fair for those people that are on fixed incomes! It’s just not!

@@LambysNursery I’m not a green at you….I’m angry at these artists that think they have to put unbelievable prices on these dolls. I have, on at least twice, found dolls that were priced at $10,000+….yes you seen it right….nobody would be able to pay that.NOBODY!…..unless they robbed a bank first.
I came victim to one if these bad sites when I ordered a doll for my daughter! I was mortified by the doll they actually sent me! I am currently in process of fighting back to get my money. My special needs daughter loves her dolls. I bought her one a few years ago, and wanted to get her another. But what I received was like a dollar store doll with the face caved all the way in to the back of the head if the doll! This was going to be my daughter favorite gift for Christmas and I couldn't wait for her to open it. Needless to say I obviously couldn't give her this doll and had no time to get another before Christmas. I was so disappointed, especially for the amount of money I paid! I'll never do this again, it was a terrible experience. I will be doing alot more background checking on any sites I go to from now on!

My daughter and I were scammed too by "baby reborn growing" which doesn't exist but my 11 year old was for sure it wasn't a scam because she saw it on Pinterest and there was great reviews. How do we get our money back? I can't even find these people to talk to them and my money went to a Chinese name , that's all it says on my bank records.

I just ordered from creativegifts online too. I just read the reviews of creativegifts and they are horrible. The company has no customer service number only email. They are only offering 20% or 30% refunds on their dolls. I've been on the phone with my credit card company trying to dispute the charge. I will never buy a doll online again. Good luck.

I was scammed once but now have my second reborn. They are both so very different especially when I requested rooted hair. I have to wait so long for that doll and I can definitely tell it was made by an artist.

Yes creativegifts IS a Scam . They are owned by the company that scammed me RSG. The doll I received was nothing like the soft Silicone reborn doll I wanted.
None of these scam websites honor their 100% money back Customer Satisfaction guarantee .
Am currently disputing the charge with my bank.
