I grew up going to Lanier (after it was paved of course). I knew that track looked very familiar when I started watching the video, so I googled it to make sure 😂

Hey Jeff. How in the world did you lay down a 16.34? Very impressive. I am getting there. I started less than a month ago and couldn't complete a practice lap by myself and now I am down in the 14.4 range. Any recommendations?

Hi Jeff. What software do you use to record these videos? Also, being new to iRacing, is it possible to upload on of the videos you have done in car using the TV view that iRacing has? It would be nice to see on race from two vantage points. Good luck on the road to the Outlaws!

I would love to do iracing and I'm pretty sure I could be a top contender but not sure if the cost of it would be worth it.

Enjoyed the video, what do I need to get started in I racing?

Hey Charles! You will need a medium to high range gaming PC and a wheel/pedal combo. The Logitech G29 wheels and pedals are popular to start. I hope you decide to make the plunge!
www.iracing.com/membership/system-requirements/ That page of the iRacing site has some good information!

A couple of things you want to do in iRacing is use your relative hud option instead of lap timing - and another that might make your life a little easier on dirt would be to set your steering ratio as low as possible, and do a couple of laps, then go into your force feedback settings and click "auto". It will adjust your force feedback to the most optimal setting according to your steering ratio. Lower steering ratio is better for dirt, since you have to constantly countersteer in the corners. It makes the car require less input to respond. Less input = more speed.
