I picked up my meteorite gray w/ ash gray interior on Monday, just 72 hours ago. 39k$ with no additional markup and waited two weeks for it to be delivered to my selling dealership. Now having driven it for three days and 54 miles (LOL) all I can say is WOW!! I was in the market for a Fully loaded Camry XSE for my 59th birthday gift to myself. After waiting for months my local Toyota dealership gave me a call a couple weeks ago, telliing me that 4 different XSE’s were in stock. Went right in the next morning to check them out. As stated, there were four brand new ones (2023) and two used 2023 on the lot. One had 4200 miles (AWD), the other 15k miles. Started up the 15k car and it had an engine tick (no thank you). The 4200 mile AWD car was fully optioned, only lacking the two-tone paint, hybrid, and red leather. It having gray leather 39,997$. Drove that car and it was pleasant, but the fit and finish for a new Toyota Camry that had never been in an accident, was poor in my eyes/opinion. Told the pushy salesman that I was going to the Honda dealer to look at and drive their first and only 2023 Accord Touring in Lunar pearl. Wow, what a difference in vehicles that are priced similarly and in the same class. No comparison as the refinement of the new Accord Touring is second to none! On the exterior, this new smooth body style is Uber sexy. None of those fugly front end features like the Camry (or outgoing 10th Gen Accord) that are, umm, long in the tooth. Interior of the Touring is a work of art and a sight to behold. The technology is incredibly refined, and the fourth Generation hybrid system is absolutely seamless. Also, if you need the space, this car is big! Well done Honda! The 11th generation Accord Touring model is the BEST Accord ever built.
Got a '23 Touring in the same color. Absolutely love driving it. I have no complaints, love the way it handles and it has enough power to work with what I need it for. I've got a little bias, obviously, but to me the negative comments on the 11th gen Accord are infinitesimal for how efficient and comfortable it is. Glad you're loving yours too.
Your light grey interior is amazing. I can see all the details and leather stitching. I watched so many professional youtuber accord videos and they all had boring dark interiors.
Just bought an urban gray touring, and I concur with everything on this video, though the lack of a panoramic sun roof doesn't bother me. I traded in a 2009 Maxima SV, that I bought new, for this, and there are 2 minor features that aren't available on the Accord: 1) Heated steering wheel, though the Maxima's got so hot I'd have to turn it off in a couple of minutes. 2) Auto garage door opener, so now I have the external one attached to the visor. I did a 180° on fuel, going from premium gas to a hybrid. I hope and plan to get at least as much enjoyment for 14 years or so out of this as I did out of my Maxima. Great video. Thanks.
Your video is the best video I have seen thus far. Informative, and you showed things on how the car works. Thank you very much for the video. Agreed, it is the smoothest ride.
Great video. This is the exact color and trim I just reserved today! Makes me very excited to drive it. But yea toning down the music a bit would help 👍
You’d have to upload a new video but personally I think the music is edited well, it fades down when you talk and you can still clearly hear your voice. It could be a little quieter during some sections but overall it’s perfectly fine. I wouldn’t redo it, maybe just make some tweaks for the next video

Congrats on the new car. I’m always risk averse so I don’t purchase the 1st year of a redesign, but I’m glad others have to get a good perspective on this car.
I bought my '23 Touring Hybrid about 12 days ago and love it. Drives great. Over 510 miles driven and still says I have 70 miles to go till empty. Google built in is awesome.
I am getting 52 MPG on most days. My best was 68 MPG but that was on a small road trip and not normal commuting. Still trying to learn how best to drive to maximize MPG's. 562 miles is my best record before empty so far but probably had another gallon or so to go. @@IAMT3XAS
I got a 22 black accord touring last summer, contemplating weather to trade it up for a 23 black touring. I like your color. I do like the hybrid and the bose sound system.
I am buying a '23 Accord but is only available in black at the moment. I a little stressed about the color. How is it looking ? Does it show scratches and dirt easily ?
@@canadaeast I have had mine since last June so no scratches yet thank god….but it will show pollen/dirt definitely. As soon as you get it get it ceramic waxed! Mine is still going good 👍🏻 it’s beautiful when clean but yea gets dirty quick
@Kevin I see what your saying…….I’m on my 6th accord the best one In my opinion was my 2012EXL v6….. quality of materials and just fit and finish went way down.
Congrats for the new car its a good review.. and dear what about the road or cabin noise do you feel any difference between this and previous Gen? Thanks
I agree a panoramic sunroof would be awesome. Putting one on a vehicle with the Accords sloping roof design would have impeded rear headroom too much. This is the same reason why SUV’s with a coupe like body style don’t have them.
Been buying and trading-in Accord Touring, or equivalent trim, every 3 years for 30 years. Love my white on white 2020 Touring, the best they ever made, and been unsure about the 2023 Hybrid. Don't really need hybrid and not crazy about the grey, but this year was time for me to make a move. I only deal with whatever stock the dealer has on the lot, so the one I was looking at is the same as in this video....very low inventory this year so little choice. I guess I have to get used to it as most car makers are moving in the EV direction. This video helped me decide to move up to the 2023 Touring anyway and not change brands. Very good job with the presentation Jim, thank you.
I, too, upgraded from the 2021 Honda Hybrid Touring to the 2023 Honda Hybrid Touring. This is a big step-up from the 2021 10th generation. Although I liked the 2021 a lot, after seeing the 2023, it was an easy decision to make the change. However, I, not being that computer tech savvy, I am very perplexed with how to take advantage of all that new technology. Surprisingly, so are the Honda service people who seem oblivious of how to sync my Google Assistant to my car and cell phone. I was told that the 2023 Accord did not come with a built-in Google functionality. I am still unable to use the voice command function on the steering wheel to make a phone call or other voice commands. I have to manually pull up my phone directory on the screen and tap on the name of the party to make a phone call. My SiriusXM and Pandora, as it is now, have to be streamed through my cellphone, which requires that my cellphone has to be on continuously in order to access these stations. I now understand that the Google App can be downloaded via Honda Link. I have a Galaxy 22 Ultra cellphone. This has been my ONLY frustration because the Dealer Service Department is not educated on or familiar with this highly sophisticated vehicle. I will definitely show the Dealer Service Department your video and clear evaluation of this great vehicle. I agree with everything you stated in your thorough review.😮
@@a32tl still love it just as thr first day I got it, has everything I need and with 26k miles still runs like brand new, a few things that happend during my ownership can't plug in 3rd party dashcams into the OBD connector for power on hybrids because it affects the power, lost power in thr highway when driving and found out it was because of that. Can only plug Into thr cigarette lighter. Another thing because I live in Florida and the sun heat has been at an all time high, my rear view mirror fell off the windshield the glue didn't hold it. So warranty claim replaced it but said needed to replace the entire windshield to fix that issue, don't know why but ended getting a new rear view mirror attached to a new windshield. But other than those 2 minor hiccups, absolutely love this car and looks so good still.
@@JimmyPersad Glad to hear. When the ‘23 first came out, I was not fond of it because of the weaker engine. I have warmed up to it a bit. Still not considering replacing my ‘21 Touring 2.0T with one. However, my parents are in the market for a car right now and I think it would suit them perfectly. They’re very close to pulling the trigger on a brand new one.
My only dream is if honda brought back the accord wagon and made it a hybrid too. Would be amazing. Otherwise, i'm getting the Civic hybrid hatch when it comes out
Great video. Been thinking about getting this model because of the tech and sound system. Do you think it’s worth getting this model versus the EX-L or Sport L?
Pay the extra man it’s well worth it. I’d kick myself if I came so close to a touring buying ex-L. You will feel better about your purchase, knowing you got the best Honda offers in the accord line.
This was my first choice because I really like what Honda's done with this refresh. Honda doesn't make their vehicles for taller people though and I'm 6'5". I went with a Toyota Avalon hybrid.
Pano roof is such a gimmick. Not to mention it severely compromises the structural integrity of the car in case of accident. Thats been shown. U can have it
How effective are the ventilated seats in this model? I just put myself on the list for the 2023 Touring. I have a 2018 Touring currently and the ventilated seats are barely noticeable.
I got the Touring just a couple of weeks ago and haven't had a good opportunity to try it out yet since the weather finally got warmer here in PA. It seems to work ok the couple times I tried it but it wasn't earth shattering hahah so I'm guessing it might be the same as what you already have.
The ventilated seats are fantastic!!!! The whole car is fantastic....once I get the dealer to help me properly sync my voice command function....Alexa has gotten on my last nerve! 😢 She doesn't understand any of my voice commands and has snarly responses. She was just as annoying on my 2021 Honda Accord, as well! 😢😢😢
@@AqeelEl-Amin.06 Did your 2021 have Alexa? I know my 2018 didn’t have it. I haven’t been able to get Alexa to work at all either. I just ignore it. I also haven’t gotten RUclips Music to work. It is installed and opens but none of my music shows up.
When using google maps how do you get the view to look like in real life image? I have one of these and when I use maps it looks like the regular street line view
Great video my friend but plz get rid of the background music…It’s very distracting!…at least to me but otherwise keep up the great work. 👍👌 Just picked touring
I’ll take care of that for you in the next video post, and no ambient night lighting, but there is a thin gloss black line that is designed from the door to the dash that clearly would’ve been perfect spot for ambient light. I guess Honda was like hmmmm…Nahhh we not gonna do that, let’s keep it only in the odyssey and black edition models…
Definitely quieter. I got the '23 Touring one month ago. My son has a '22 2.0 Sport, my other son had a '20 Sport, I put 3000 miles on a '21 Sport. All have the 19" wheel and tire package. For me, that tire noise, highway drone on all 3 of the others was a deal breaker for me. For whatever reason, this new one is MUCH quieter. Probably just as quiet as our '19 Acura RDX.
I just rented an Accord Sport Hybrid and like you, was pretty impressed. The Touring I think might be worth it for the upgraded sound system alone. I did not like the sound system in the Sport. Another thing I'm surprised Honda did not add is a 360-degree view from the backup cameras. Hyundai even has this now on the lower models. Not the end of the world, but one of those "nice to have" options.
I’ve seen it in person and tbh the previous gen looked better stood out more with the shape, body lines ect .. this one is too sleek imo similar to the new Altima but Altima although Nissan looks a bit nicer. Congrats on the car tho
Nice review, thanks. A watched a short review from some asian country (not sure what it was exactly) and they have panoramic sunroof, folding mirrors and ambient lighting inside. Not sure why USA accords do not have it. It's a pity as I'm waiting my 23 touring to come here in Ukraine in a month) It's gonna be my 3rd accord hybrid. I used to have 2014, now I drive 2018. Hope it will be as reliable as prev gens.
The vehicle in question is in a pristine condition, featuring gray seats. Initially, I held a negative opinion towards this particular model, likening its appearance to that of a turtle shell. However, upon further consideration, it 🤧🔥 seems that Honda aimed to incorporate a luxurious aesthetic into the recent redesign, while Toyota opted for a sportier approach with their new XSE model.
To each his own I suppose. I hope you will enjoy your new '23 Hybrid Touring. I have a '21 Touring 2.0T and I don't see this car as an upgrade at all. Yes, newer tech and better fuel economy but considerably inferior driving dynamics. I suppose it's what you prioritize. If I wanted a fuel sipping hybrid, I would buy it but I enjoy driving and my 2.0T is incredibly fun to drive with abundant power that I would greatly miss, were I to buy a '23.
@@JimmyPersad sure he hasn't! Just running on about absolutely nothing while slightly being negative giving a speech about something he hasn't experienced!
@@aritruths1452 No I haven't driven it. But I don't have to experience driving it to know that I would not enjoy a car that is considerably slower. I'm a 38 year exclusively loyal customer of Honda. I think I might know what I like without having to drive every one of their products. It's really pretty simple. I don't want a slower car than what I have. Don't know why that's so hard for you to understand. I clearly stated that I hope he enjoys his new Accord. If that's what he wants, who am I to criticize his choice? I just know that it wouldn't satisfy me. I hope you enjoy your new Accord Hybrid too.
@@a32tl you ought to go to a dealership when you get the chance and try it out for yourself, as much as you feel you know Honda, this is not the same Honda, it’s riding on a redesigned chassis with re-tuned suspension, power distribution is completely customizable as well as the feel of the handling. It obviously won’t get up and go like a 2.0T would, which I leased for 3 years, but the fun part about this is when it is going you instantly get torque from the electric part to make peoples eye open like… “how did that accord just zip through everyone like that”. But yeah unless you’ve driven this one thoroughly, you cannot make any valid claims on the way it drives.
@@JimmyPersad I appreciate your view but the bottom line is that I don't want a slower car than my current 2.0T. If anything, I want one that is faster.
@@billtshudy3653 The 23 hybrid is nicer than your 21 2.0T. It’s just slower. Also no turbocharged cars will last forever. That title goes to the K24 and J35 9th gen accords.
@2:04 It's still missing memory power folding side mirrors too. The removal of fog lights is really surprising and pretty inexcusable. I bet they will add them back for 2024 and call it a "premium driver package" or "Touring Elite" or some shizz... 🤦🏻♂
22 civic owner here, I feel that Honda cuts corners on features because they know that people will buy from them regardless even though competitors offer more for less
True! I saw a silver color base model with the raw aluminum 17” wheels and had to look twice as it went by. Owner must have leased, or just needed transportation.
cause you’re crazy 🤣🤣 not when the Camry hasn’t dropped its redesign yet & the Sonata got a meeeean facelift ! the Accord looks like it could be a 2014 & has a 2014 back up camera & sunroof. But I love this for you 🥴🫠
The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio. If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these deficiencies will be resolved.
You sound like an old timer my friend, nothing is wrong with that though everyone has their preferences for what they look for in a vehicle. But those are things that are going away not coming back anytime soon. If AWD is a big deal there is always the Acura line-up with their SH-AWD TLX.
Of the 4 deficiencies I noted, the only one that may be considered silly is the heated steering wheel. If you live in a place where it gets cold in the winter a heated steering wheel is not silly. I had a 2009 Caddy CTS with no spare tire, just a can of shaving cream to inflate in an emergency, when that didn't work, I finally had to press the Onstar Button and they sent a tow truck. After a 6 hour wait for the tow truck I was towed to a shop and in the process the towing did damage to the transmission which cost me $3,000 to repair. No luck getting the tow truck operator to take responsibility nor the auto warrantee. I am used to XM Radio, The workaround to get XM on a Honda is something Rube Goldberg would have thought up. My home is located on a hill and in the winter, after a snow storm I would be stranded for days without all Wheel drive. I will just keep my current car and drive it until the wheels fall off. To spend $40,000+ on a car with a long list of deficiencies is insanity.

I bought my '23 Touring Hybrid about 12 days ago and love it. Drives great. Over 510 miles driven and still says I have 70 miles to go till empty. Google built in is awesome.
What kind of MPG are you getting?
I am getting 52 MPG on most days. My best was 68 MPG but that was on a small road trip and not normal commuting. Still trying to learn how best to drive to maximize MPG's. 562 miles is my best record before empty so far but probably had another gallon or so to go. @@IAMT3XAS
I've only seen ONE on the road in Upstate SC. I drive 100 miles per day. Dealer lots are still empty or have slim inventory.
Thank you! For the review on the new Honda accord. I got a new Honda hr-v
Wanted to trade mine in for a 23, dealer was lowballing me on it, just decided to keep my 22, 2.0.
@@gimne yea I’m not letting go mine…
Congrats for the new car its a good review.. and dear what about the road or cabin noise do you feel any difference between this and previous Gen? Thanks
This model is most quiet compare to any previous ones come before it
I agree a panoramic sunroof would be awesome.
Glad to hear
Finally an honest review and the comments aren't filled with ricer lovers.
KEEPING MY 2.0T TOURING MODEL 2020.
Cool story mr shouty.
Presuming you still own this car, I’m curious to know how you feel about it now that you’ve owned it for over a year. Thoughts?
@@a32tlthey definitely won’t be disappointed, it’s a really nice riding vehicle.
My only dream is if honda brought back the accord wagon and made it a hybrid too. Would be amazing. Otherwise, i'm getting the Civic hybrid hatch when it comes out
Planning on getting this since Toyota literally has no stock anywhere. That being said what's the gas mileage you've been getting after 2 months?
Current Average is 48mpg
Great video. Been thinking about getting this model because of the tech and sound system. Do you think it’s worth getting this model versus the EX-L or Sport L?
Pay the extra man it’s well worth it. I’d kick myself if I came so close to a touring buying ex-L. You will feel better about your purchase, knowing you got the best Honda offers in the accord line.
@@JimmyPersad Thanks. I’m excited to check it out in person
Great and informative video, Doc. I like this new Accord Hybrid. 🙂
Thanks officer Darren
Hi DoctaJim! just curious you weren't interested in getting the 2023 prius limited?
Prius never crossed my mind, plus the design still seems unattractive and it’s underpowered
I have the same car as you, love it very practica and smooth!
Great review Jimmy!!
Music in the background is slightly loud during the review. I’d say maybe lower it just a little bit. Just my 2 cents.
I saw it in person and it really does look a lot better in person. Would've bought it if it had a bit more power
My aunt MARMALADE said that fat persons say that about fat persons. That YOUS is better in life etc.
@@ericB3444 Apparently your aunt didn't teach you how to make a sentence.
I agree, I thought it was hideous until I saw a black one in person..not too bad but I still think Honda could have came up with something better
why lie, saying it looks better in person? that's absolute b.s. the car looks exactly the same in person as in the video 🙄
@cameron OK I'm lying apparently. Whatever man be a negative asshole. I'm only one person. Make your own judgement call
Whoa I love the 911 switch.
Bro I need that diffuser! Can you share the link please ?
This was my first choice because I really like what Honda's done with this refresh. Honda doesn't make their vehicles for taller people though and I'm 6'5". I went with a Toyota Avalon hybrid.
Definitely was a help 😁
Pano roof is such a gimmick. Not to mention it severely compromises the structural integrity of the car in case of accident. Thats been shown. U can have it
Unrelated, but what car diffuser do you use and where is it possible to get it?
Got it on Amazon it’s like 15 bucks, I just chose the one with the best ratings
@@JimmyPersad Thanks!
Is that a car diffuser in your cup holder?
How effective are the ventilated seats in this model? I just put myself on the list for the 2023 Touring. I have a 2018 Touring currently and the ventilated seats are barely noticeable.
I got the Touring just a couple of weeks ago and haven't had a good opportunity to try it out yet since the weather finally got warmer here in PA. It seems to work ok the couple times I tried it but it wasn't earth shattering hahah so I'm guessing it might be the same as what you already have.
Ventilated does not mean cooling. Fans blow air(not refrigerated air) through the seats for comfort. Cooled seats would be amazing!
Good question. That's one I want to research.
@sbs8331 I actually found out, it's easy. When you're on Google maps, you go to settings and tap satellite, then it will change the view.
Blindspot monitoring light is inside the car near the speaker on the A-pillar
Great video my friend but plz get rid of the background music…It’s very distracting!…at least to me but otherwise keep up the great work. 👍👌
Just picked touring
I got you on the next vid I post
Why does it have a gearstick?? Doesn't the US get the non CVT hybrid?
My dream car😅
Nice!!’
Do all models come with the Honda Link feature or just the Touring?
All have it but touring offers the full package of features
Is there any ambient lighting at night? Also, you should do a night drive, haha!
I’ve been looking for the answer to this for a week now!! Thanks for asking! Missed opportunity for sure..
Nice review.
Thanks docta supa Dagbo
What is the sound quality like with the BOSE system?
Deep full high quality sound. You feel like you are at the concert or in the studio
How quiet is the cabin in the freeway? Same or more quiet than the 2022 Accord? What about comparing it to the civic in terms of quieteness?
More quiet on the overall experience I’ve never know Honda could step up like this, it’s luxury sedan status now
Just stuff foam in your ears.
This is the most quiet car I have ever owned.
Drooling over this.
does the wireless charger have MagSafe? i imagine the phone would be sliding around otherwise while driving?
It stays in place because it has rubber guarding around it
Does it have automatic wipers? My 2016 touring does.
Yep
I just rented an Accord Sport Hybrid and like you, was pretty impressed. The Touring I think might be worth it for the upgraded sound system alone. I did not like the sound system in the Sport. Another thing I'm surprised Honda did not add is a 360-degree view from the backup cameras. Hyundai even has this now on the lower models. Not the end of the world, but one of those "nice to have" options.
Yeah there are some things I don’t understand why Honda choose not to include to remain competitive
What is on road price for 2023 Accord Touring hybrid?
What's the 3 years unlimited data apps no charge worth$540 on sticker
Built in google maps, RUclips music, internet radios services and podcast apps. They all work without your phone present.
I want that car! But I wanna wait and see what the 2025 Camry is going to look like 😊
I don’t blame you should be very interesting, especially since they see what HONDA looks like first
2019 Honda Accord Touring - it does look better than the one I have currently, but do I really need it ?
Just for the tech upgrade and the ride quality it’s worth it
I’ve seen it in person and tbh the previous gen looked better stood out more with the shape, body lines ect .. this one is too sleek imo similar to the new Altima but Altima although Nissan looks a bit nicer. Congrats on the car tho
Why do I think Honda doesn't put a panoramic sunroof on the Accord? It's about 400lb, and they are for economy that would hurt that mpg.
Pano is a gimmick
What the heck is the smoke?
Nice music taste. Can't fight fate is a great album by taylor dayne.
How are there ventilation seats. Any good?
It keeps the airflow good on your back, but you don’t really feel it that much. The heated seats is very powerful however
That’s wild to see 257 range with the car less than 50% full . 500 plus range when full Dr Jimmy?
Yes sir
With a full tank of fuel, in normal mode, mine states a range of 580 miles (12.8gal tank). Will it do it? Only time will tell
@@JerryCurl-wt8gb yeah, as long as you drive 30mph
The vehicle in question is in a pristine condition, featuring gray seats. Initially, I held a negative opinion towards this particular model, likening its appearance to that of a turtle shell. However, upon further consideration, it 🤧🔥 seems that Honda aimed to incorporate a luxurious aesthetic into the recent redesign, while Toyota opted for a sportier approach with their new XSE model.
so no mention of the misting machine? , whats going on there
Sorry dude 😂😂 diffuser is customer add on from Amazon 😆
Mine showed up today from Amazon. Forgot the essential oils though LOL
Congratulations on the car.. but the new 2023 just not feelin it.. seen it in person for some reason this looks more dated then the outgoing model 😩
It is very scaled back from aggressive to a more elegant approach. Will take time for the look to set in.
What’s that smoke coming out?
What kind of warranty for hybrid system.
Have you driven to 23 touring hybrid?

I mentioned that in an earlier comment. I knew it going in, but you'd think the Touring model would have it, given all the other bells & whistles.

@2:04 It's still missing memory power folding side mirrors too. The removal of fog lights is really surprising and pretty inexcusable. I bet they will add them back for 2024 and call it a "premium driver package" or "Touring Elite" or some shizz... 🤦🏻♂
Fog lights dont do shit. Another gimmick

True! I saw a silver color base model with the raw aluminum 17” wheels and had to look twice as it went by. Owner must have leased, or just needed transportation.

LOL. Drive ANY of the new ugly Korean automobiles of the lot, and it depreciated by 50%.
They are best served as rental cars.
9546 is a troll plain and simple
Accord touring should have 2.0 0r 2.5 naturally aspirated engine
Will never be superior to the final 21-22 2.0t Touring.
