Worlds is the League of Legends world championship tournament. Largest LoL tournament where teams from all around the globe compete. Every year since 2014 Riot makes a Worlds song like Warriors, Rise, Burn it all down, etc. In the music videos they usualy tell a story of the wrolds from the previous year and include the pro players in the videos. Right before the worlds final there is then an openning ceremony with live performance of the worlds song. 2021 was online because of covid.

The glasses guy in red uniform is "FAKER", he cameoed in almost all of Worlds Cinematic songs MVs due to his great reputation in league championships.
Worlds 2017 Opening ceremony is the one that dragged me to the community and then RISE came at the Worlds 2018 with K/DA Live performance...which is AWESOOMEE :D

Pro players don't really have mains as they're often forced to play many different champions based on what is banned and what fits their team. However, there's definitely champions that some pro players are notorious for playing, and in these worlds videos you often see them represented that way. A few examples from both videos:
    Rise: Ambition - Jarvan IV
    Perkz - Yasuo
    Faker - Ryze
    Uzi - Vayne
Burn it all down: Rekkles - Jhin
    Showmaker - Syndra
    Chovy - Orianna
    Jackeylove - Kai'sa

To be fair players ar not always associated with one champion, for example in Rise, through its the norm
Ambition is not just Jarwan, but in every battle a different champion which is shown by him using a different weapon in every battle
When Fighting Perkz as Yasuo he uses 2 scythe like weapons from champion I always forget the name of.
In the cave facing off with Uzin as Vayne he uses a flay and when the lava shoot up you see Sejuanis silhouette to show the champion he played
and then in his battle with Faker as his iconic champ Ryze he uses the Spear of Jarvan ...
This idea is show also in the Take Over video from 2020 where the mc collects different weapons as he defeats his opponents and uses them later on.

So since I noticed nobody giving a decent explanations:
Rise - The entire story is referencing the success the player Ambition had the previous year - he is one of the all time greats and has an insane fall from grace and rise back to the top sort of story in his career culminating in him winning a world championship right before he planned to retire.
Let me guide you through the video as its full of references:
0:08 - We see banners of Organisations that failed to get out of Group Stage that year as well as those that disbanded without ever winning championship. Ambition is picking up weapons of his signature picks from the tournament: Kha'Zix's Scythes, Sejuani's Flail and Jarvan's Spear
0:35 - A giant statue of the champion Kalista in the background referencing how strong it was during the tournament (100% pick ban ratio).
1:02 - G2 Perkz on Yasuo. References the last game of Group Stage between the two teams during which Ambition played Kha'Zix. Ambitions clothes are the same as an icon for "Stormraider's Surge" mastery (A sort of optional ability) which he was using during the match. While Perkz hasn't played Yasuo against SSG it is his signature pick so thats why he is on it.
1:13 - Kennen's Shuriken in the sky shot down by Vayne arrow - References RNG Uzi on Vayne defeating FNC Reckless on Kennen and foreshadows the next encounter.
    1:16 - Statue of Thresh
1:24 - Statue of Ashe in the background overlooking two turrets one of which is destroyed (Likely also reference but not sure to what)
1:28 - Giant Statue of Olaf, Ambition is crossing his axe to get to the mountain
1:31 - Bats coming out of cave signifying Vayne
1:33-1:55 RNG Uzi on Vayne vs SSG Ambition of Sejuani - References the two games RNG and SSG had in Group Stage - both of which SSG lost signified by the two times Uzi hits Ambition who then doesnt actually defeat him but just pushes further outside. Uzi hasn't actually played Vayne in those games yet again its a reference as he is on his signature pick. They havent faced afterwards as RNG lost in semifinals before they were matched again.
    1:56 - Championship Zed statue.
2:00 - Ambition running through a conjoined statue of all the champions SSG chose for their Worlds Skin after they won - they are fighting an Elder Drake. (Whenever a team wins Worlds - each player gets to pick a champion as well as give input on design for a skin referencing that win.)
2:09 - Summoner Statue ahead of us represents the at the time undecided 2017 World Champion.
2:12-2:15 Summoner Statues representing: Fnatic Season 1 World Championship, Taipei Assassins Season 2 World Championship, SKT T1 Season 3,5,6 World Championship - other than Samsung White this represents all the World Championships up to that point.
2:16 - SKT T1 Faker as his signature Ryze walking around the mountaintop reading a book with the symbol of World Championships on the cover.
2:20 - You can read 고전파 on the corner of the page which was previously Faker's username
2:21 - Three stars on the logo represent Faker's three World Champion titles
2:22-2:49 - Battle of Faker and Ambition in the finals - Ambition wins and finally gets his revenge.
2:50 - The text on the piece of paper from the book says "The Unkillable Demon King's fundamental guide to winning Worlds" (Unkillable Demon King is a nickname Faker has) - The image of brocolli represents his iconic vegetable
2:51 - Ambition is finally revealed and the logo of SSG appears on the 2017 World Championship statue. We can now see the other two SKT statues.
3:03 - 2018's contenders showing up - We can see Gamit's PvpStejos on Darius. (As well as 2014 Championship Shyvana on the right side of the mountain)
3:05 - Someone represented as Jax on the far left as well as someone represented as Kalista on the right - this player wears red/orange and white so its likely the ADC of KT Rolster, 100 Thieves or Kabum)
3:08 - Some more players, Team Liquid Doublelift as Jinx, Unknown player as Shen far up front, Unknown FLash Wolves player as well as FNC sOAZ as Fiora.
3:21 - As the video is closing Uzi wakes up, looking for his title - the sounds make it seem he is exactly where Ambition began.
As for Burn it All Down:
0:01 - DWK Showmaker - living in the shadow of Faker who is on the large screen dubbed "Eternal King of the LCK". The video then moves to TES JackeyLove and then again to G2 Rekkles.
0:47 - Each player enters their local arena representing their regional league filled with their regional players.
0:53 - HLE Chovy as Orianna tries to blast away Showmaker.
0:56 - Jackeylove makes a move on FPX Lwx represented as Aphelios, whom tries to blast away JackeLove, now revealed to be Kai'Sa
0:57 - Rekkles as Jhin, blasts away MAD Carzzy on Ezreal for First Blood.
1:04 - IG The Shy and SN Bin battle both on Fiora.
1:05 - EDG Viper as Xayah, fights RNG Gala as Varus
1:06 - in the LCS Arena (NA) C9 Blaber as Kindred Duels TSM PoE on Azir
1:07 - MAD Armut on Mega Gnar sends Hans Sama on Kalista flying
1:08 - PNG brTT as Draven duels VRX fNb as Renekton
1:11 - DWK Showmaker's Syndra faces off HLE Chovy's Orianna
    1:18 - Representing Showmaker's huge champion pool
    1:22 - TES JackeyLove meditates
1:28 - G2 Rekkles has Wunder's Ornn forge him a Galeforce (an item)
1:34 - In Champion Select, DWK Showmaker picks Syndra, G2 Rekkles picks Jhin and TES JackeyLove picks Kai'sa
1:47 - Players in all regions are about to face off
1:54 - Duel between Chovy and Showmaker which Showmaker wins
2:42 - Portal cracks open and players are moved to Shenzehen (where the event was supposed to be hosted before it moved to Iceland due to covid)
thats pretty much it - wow I went all out xD

So, idk if it was said before, I apologize if it was. The main guy in RISE is a pro player named Ambition, and this is pretty much his journey visualized during his climb to winning the world championship back in 2017. Each of the guy he faced are also all pro players immortalized as their iconic champions. First one is Perkz as Yassuo (correct me if I'm wrong), Uzi as Vayne, and Faker as Ryze. Its a really cool visual on how he and his team climbed to the top during 2017. His team was the massive underdogs during the tournament.

So "Worlds" is the yearly tournament where the best League of Legends teams from the various competitive regions around the world compete against each other for the Worlds Trophy. These Worlds songs are like hype videos for that years Worlds tournament, and the music videos often feature some of the players themselves.
The guy you paused on in the Rise video is a Korean player called Faker. He's basically the Michael Jordan of League, pretty much the GOAT. He plays for a team called SKT T1, which is that logo on his jacket. Other players in the Rise video were Ambition (the main guy the video was following), Perkz (guy with the sword in the field) and Uzi (guy with the crossbow in the cave). They also had nods towards the champions these players are known for - Ambition with the claws of Kha'Zix and Jarvin IV's spear, Perkz with Yasuo's sword, Uzi with Vayne's crossbows and Faker with Ryze's scrolls.
The Worlds 2021 opening ceremony was a pre-recorded concert due to COVID pandemic restrictions. Normally they are held in stadiums in front of a live audience - you could check out the Worlds 2018 and Worlds 2019 opening ceremonies for some pretty cool stage shows. Worlds 2022 (which is being held on November 5th in San Francisco) should be a banger too, since its their first live show since 2019 due to the pandemic.

The Burn it Down music video is similar to the Rise video, with it featuring various pro players. The main guy it was following was Showmaker from the Korean team Damwon Gaming (DWG KIA), as the champion Syndra. DWG were one of the teams you saw in the Worlds 2021 performance, the other team being Edward Gaming (EDG) from China. Some of the other featured pro players were Rekkles from G2 Esports (G2) as Jhin, Jackeylove from Top Esports (TES) as Kai'Sa and Chovy from Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) as Orianna.

Rise is my favorite Worlds cinematic. It shows the winning teams journey to the finals where they had to face off against the team that won the last two years in a row with arguably one of the all time best players Faker on it. The song's lyrics help to portray the challenge of fighting your way to the top and the pressure of facing the team that won before

Usually the worlds vidoes are tailored slightly to the previous worlds tournament. The characters they choose and that are represented were things they played the previous year. Or just generally popular. Even the players represented were highlet players in the previous year. Aside from the demon god king FAKER who will be in every video every year probably.

Just in case it's the latter, "gamer" is not the suitable term here because anyone who plays games is called a gamer. These are pros or "professional players" so this is their career basically, they get paid for this and they train for this probably everyday lol. I guess they are in face gamers but I'm guessing the term you're looking for is pros.
