    I have the same pen and it’s way harder than it looks. The lines are hard to make because some of the indentations are not deep so the marking goes off line.

      Agreed. You need a steady hand and a lot of patience. But it’s cathartic to do after a long day at work 🥹😊

    I would suggest using a Gundam panel liner pen for this. If you make a mistake you can rub it right off with a standard white pencil eraser so long as you're quick. I used one to bring out all the cracks in the retro Thing figure and it turned out great! Gundam markers are essentially designed with this kind of thing in mind.

      I was going to recommend Gundam brand as well. I started out panel lining with hobby store art pens, and it's just not the same. They are not as permanent on plastic, where as Gundam pens are more like paint. They go on easier, and stay on.

    Hello sir, good tutorial. Imo if someone takes their own personal time to share what they know, you’re okay in my book! I will have to try that top coat.
    Suggestion: when warning figs, drop a couple drops of liquid dawn in there, it will help get that residue off the figs. Your top coat should lay down better and with usually 1 pass. Also whenever I do any customizing that could possibly smear, I will seal the fig.

    • @marveltoytok
      @marveltoytok  2 года назад

    Most of my figures have no issue moving around outta the box so I’ve only had to heat one up in hot water once. What I did though was put it in a zip lock bag so that it would be dry once I took it out. Just a small suggestion, nice vid!
