The first time I saw this show was during a PBS telethon at some ungodly hour. I was instantly hooked. I try to convince others to watch it but the premise alone doesn’t explain the magic of the show. I’ve seen every episode at least 2-3 dozen times but it never gets old. Anytime I’m feeling down or like I just need a good laugh Father Ted delivers every time.
Only fools is probably the best comedy and many would agree,but for me my absolute favourite is Father Ted,I've watched all the episodes dozens of times but it's still the funniest and maddest comedy I've seen,it will never get old for me.
It's genuinely a BBC policy that comedy about white people is not allowed to be made anymore. They confirmed that only fools, monty python etc would never, ever be made nowadays
