I’m not a diesel expert but you may look into 6.7 fuel knock. When you have an injector fail they’ll knock like that. I’d start by unplugging injectors one at a time or switching em around and see if the knock changes cylinders…. Hope this helps.
its not simple to swap the injectors that should be a common rail motor. there are block off caps for the lines on the rail and you can eliminate fuel flow that way. he said he had no oil pressure so that sums it up pretty well. i am a diesel tech of 25 years. you have the right idea for sure. certainly worth checking. overhaul kit is a bit pricey but aftermarket is cheaper, and im sure there are plenty of reman cranks out there, the problem is finding a competent mechanic that can correctly overhaul the motor.

Put 3.55s in that M-fer. Great cruising gears. On a 28 inch tire your about 3000 at 70mph you have plenty of motor and spray for an 8.50 the 5 to 8 hrs of screamin RPM's every day driving makes for long days! I have 3.50s with 5 Inch fender exits but now went to a gear vendor so now I'm 2700 at 80mph and my ears don't ring for the next week after now! Lol
If you can fit a 30 inch street tire run the 390 if not then just go with the 3.55. Goin from a 3:73 to a 3:55 in my car I lost a tenth in the 1/8 but nothing in the 60ft or 1/4. Made it hit the converter harder
SICK WEEK, gearing, afforable, steve morris and bailey run real tall off road style tires maybe consider that route I know Steve does adjust his shocks. Just a thought

Are you running a 29 tall tire? I'm not familiar with the automatics . I got 456 in my 89 coupe but it's a TKO 5 speed and cruises great in high gear. If your running a 400 turbo yeah she will scream at 50mph I would imagine, great video good to see y'all doing great!
Thanks for new video you can go buy a trailer at harbor freight and put some sides on it or just rent one like you said but take you a set of street tires so you don't wear out your drag tires, tools well everything you think you would need just in case you need it if you don't have wipers on your car get some rain X might need it between tracks

I run nitrous on sickweek and c16. Only need two bottles. They refill them but take about an hour to refill one bottle. They also have the Vp truck at each track so you can get fuel. Run the Walker brand headseats designed for shooting really but worked well in the car. Bring spare fuel pumps!
One wheel Wonder is my favorite kart I made mine do 60 at 8 years old I could swap motors , everything, burn up the tire swap it for one of the other ones on it,they don't turn left though😂 hell yeah

373 gears 355 might be little slower on take off better for gas mileage but depending on the torque converter also 373 gears pretty much the same thing as 456 gears but u dont have a high top end like 373
Now that I just saw your first seek week video and now this one. BRING a radiator hose burn cream and a tarp to throw on the engine before you open that radiator cap to prevent from having to use said burn cream!!
Check your local bus companies, the school bus companies period. Sometimes they have buses they've taken off the road but the motors are still good and some of them buses do have Cummings diesels in them.
I was going to suggest this too if valve adj is ok and bridges are good check all the valve springs seen them brake too if there is any sign of a issue of out pull the cam inspect the lobes.

His race car has no oil pressure not the 6.7 Cummins. He said it’s just head gasket blown on the Cummins

You need to get torque converted for that go kart. It'll help it be faster and It'll pull itself uphill.
