I used used this for my blocked shower drain. Initially, I tried a plunger, which make it worst! So I bought this Mr Muscle thing, and initially the gel didn't drain. BUT after about 5 mins the gel make a 'blub' sound and started slowly draining! Then, after around 10 mins, my shower drain finally drains again! Good product!
great products and always use this. sometimes its half price at tesco for the pack with 2 bottles in so I stock up when it is. I pour it down every 2 - 3 months even if not blocked to keep it flowing nicely
. . . probably would have been even more effective had you not run tap water on it too, before using the product . . . . but i understand you had to 'show' the blockage beforehand. Thanks for uploading this . . . informative ! I bought it, i used it, it worked . . . Cheers fella
Left it in my kitchen sink overnight. It did not work. I bought a second bottle and noticed that the small print said for hair and soap. It worked ok for my bathroom sink, could probably do with another bottle.

Some years ago I tried several supermarket unblockers - non-worked. A friend recommended D-Block. It is (or was) concentrated 99% either hydrochloric or sulphuric acid (can't remember). Needless to say, it worked perfectly. However, I do remember that after pouring hot water down the pipe the vapour that gushed out looked a tad nasty and I pushed my wife out the back door. The grey waste pipe was white on the inside. Needless to say, with our glorious elf and safety as far as I can see from the ingredients one could use them as a salad dressing. In fact, the one from Aldi contained sodium nitrate which is use in the preservation of bacon, etc.
Yes it work there are cheaper ones too you can buy same colour as Mr muscle the were a pound 70 or something I also bought the Mr muscle as back up the cheap one worked a out bi carbonate of soda and white vinegar down first then that but I kept the Mr muscle under the sink but yep done the job
Hi Daniela, If it a large block then leave it anything up to half an hour so its can digest. If its just a blockage that you've recently noticed happening then 5/10 minute should do the trick! Hope this helps
Your sink ain’t blocked mate. Where is the standing water. Mine didn’t unblock so I’m going to get them to give my money back. I’ll even take photos lol. Actually it worked overnight. Leave it until it clears maybe whole night.
To be honest I've never used this on a toilet and don't think I'd recommend using it for that. If your toilet is blocked then I'd recommend a simple toilet/sink plunger to start with. Not sure this would unblock the toilet. Hope this helps
Why not remove the connection from under the sink and pour directly into the wall pipe? What you did might damage the ceramic sink, the chrome ring and burn the plastic hose under the sink.
@@Tamara-lg4nd I thought so too, but after having tried everything to unblock the toilet, this actually worked like a charm. Dumped the whole bottle in, left it over night and day. After work, gave it a flush and no more blockage.
Bloody hell this music is proper annoying. By the way a 17.8 year old is going to be able to use a kettle just the same as an 18 year old. I don't know maybe you don't teach your kids how to use kettles but I know kids that are 12 and making cups of tea themselves so really I think all these warnings are just stupid.
Will it works in a 5 year old kitchen sink....the blockage there i think i pure think butter like thick fat....i removed the goose neck and saw a ball of butter like ball...as big as a baseball..but the inner part of the pipe is still clogged and i cant imagine how big the fat would be inside there...pls help
You'll need to probably leave it for longer. Firstly pour boiling water down the clogged sink. Use half the bottle and leave for a few a hours. Then Pour more boiling water down then apply the rest of the solution and leave for a few hours again. Fat is very thick so the solution will take longer to work than say a normal blockage. You need to take your time with this one but it will unclog it. Boiling water first, let it clear then use the solution as above. Any issues let me know

Works great on the bath/shower, it just dissolves all the hairs in the plug! So easy and not like messing around with a plunger.
Its really worked with my fully blocked bathroommm... Really loved it

This is the best product out there. You can leave it for 30 minutes for better effect.
The longer you leave it the better effect it has. Leave it longer if its really blocked up
Actual legend. I just bought one and was wondering if it works. Bless ya
Worked a treat for me
Great job. Thank you very much for sharing your advice and guidance. 👏🏻
Just got some today mr muscle 1000ml and only need to use half. Works first time . Thanks

It never worked for me either in the kitchen where the build-up is due to oil and grime.
Me neither
I swear by it. Had a very bad kitchen choke.. bought this n it did miracle after 2 days!!!!

It’s a bit more expensive than the other ones but trust it’s worth paying more for it 👍👍👍
In my opinion, yes/
thank you! i was looking for review before buying it.
Very nice! Great review!
How old do you need to be to boil the kettle again? 😂
Exactly what I was thinking. I know the country is nuts at the moment, but I didn't realise it was that bad.
It is the combination of splattering hot water and the chemical, it does not hurt to warn people about this at all.
Thanks
🤣
I got hurt. It should be 40.
This product is for bathroom hair and soap, I need the kind of stuff for the kitchen sink. Do they make it for the kitchen sink?
Yes use this one. It's not specifically for bathroom
@@michael5089it doesn’t work for kitchen sinks. Tried and tested, it was a fail. It’s says hair and soap in the small print NOT grease.
Works a treat!!!
oi mate, do you have a license for that Mr.Muscle Drain Gel?

Do not pour boling water down the sink especially if you have pvc pipework
Poared one 500ml on my sink, didnt work
Thanks. I tried it twice but it didn't work for me! I used a hand pump instead, it worked!

No liquids or any chemicals do not work. You need to do it manually. You can try w/ baking soda, vinegar, & hot water.
@@davidchan9632 Thanks. I'll try
brilliant
Didn't work for me either, did it twice, left it overnight and poured boiling water down
Brilliant 👍
If you’re under 18 don’t attempt to boil a kettle
Unless it’s to make a cup of tea for your parents
Poured 500ml into my bathroom sink and left for an hour then poured boiling water down the sink. And it didn't work

Vinegar and Baking soda flushed out with boiling hot water does the same.

it should be fine on the dishwasher drain but please read the instructions first asI haven't used this on a drain before.let me know how you get on
It doesn’t work for grease. It’s for hair and soap, says it in small print.
How much?
Why not remove the connection from under the sink and pour directly into the wall pipe? What you did might damage the ceramic sink, the chrome ring and burn the plastic hose under the sink.
On the bottle it says: safe for alla pipes and sinks.
It’s not one shot so should be fine

Mate is this usable in a bath tub.
Yes, you can put this down the bath plug hole. Follow the same instructions
Is it a plastic pipe?
Mine is a chrome pipe. Read the instructions as I believe you can use this on a plastic pipe too but worth double checking!

How long have you left the solution to settle? If it isn't clearing it then you could have a major blockage. Which sink is this for, the bathroom?

you can’t use it for toilets
