Bec Recreating Sunlight Tutorial

- Bec recently got back from a music festival and gave Peter the challenge of recreating one of the photos taken at there. The inspiration photo was taken with natural midday sunlight and with a lot of bounce from white cars, which was super different to a studio environment on an overcast day! Can process RAWs through this program with any camera on a Mac, but you will not be able to tether or use certain sliders. Alternatively, he recommends CaptureOne (not Lightroom)

I love that you guys aren't all super serious. I also like the fact that Peter goes into such great detail to describe how he setting up the lighting. I have such an interest in recreating lighting indoors during the winter months and this is really great stuff. I just need to buy some entry level equipment and play around with it till I get my bearings. Thank you for putting this together

"Cool - cool - cool" is a very valuable advice. I realize I can get carried away saying "beautiful, beautiful...Oh, God, it's beautiful" and it's worked so far, but I can imagine it coming across as creepy for some people. :)

Amazing rapid fire sequences :) . Beautiful posing Bec, I love that there is always a little gap between your arms and your body, ensuring that your body does not appear wider than it is. Just amazing work.

Interesting that one needs so many lights to replicate the sun and a reflector. (ok in the original shot there was no white backdrop)
And then the posing... O M G, how amazing is that. A shot every second and small changes to shoulders or face direction, you create a new image. AMAZING!!! I could literally watch that sequence over and over to catch all the changes. Well done Bec. A true professional.

When you cycled rapidly through the shots you took, I could see all the tiny but important changes Bec was making. That was impressive. Very appealing.

I used to be close to a bunch of models in NYC back in the 80's and it's just fascinating how some people just have that quality of being photogenic. It's more than beauty, it's an energy, although beauty helps, of course. Bec is very interesting and sexy in her own way, comfortable in her own skin.

At F9, why would her face still be "soft". I would have thought that it would be sharper?

The thing with sunlight is it is a very bright light and can be reflected from all angles, so it's easy to replicate from the front but much harder from the back. Glad the video was helpful

Omg Bec is so stunning for me. Slim but not skinny. Mice/deer doe lovely face. Ocean deep eyes. Long natural hair. Perfect for a wife.
All I have to say is your eyes are beautiful, I have no problem looking into them. You would have to do only head shots for me to only focus on them though. Women are always saying one thing while thinking the opposite. Common sense tells me what you don't want seen you don't show. Not wanting to hear every pervs comments about it is totally understandable though. But lets keep it real please. You are very skilled at "not being a model", very skilled. Keep up the good work, both of you. Stay safe and well.
