Thanks for watching!! ;-)
Are those the original bar style front tires or did you upgrade them and if so how do you like them and where did you get them what is the model I need new front tires and I do not like how weak the sidewalls are on the factory or Carlisle tires
They aren't the stock tires - but the did come from the dealer. I bought the tractor with a set of loaded turf tires and a set of loaded ag tires. Hope this helps - thanks for your comment!!
@@BotaTrac lol. Tomorrow I am picking up 2 new front tires. I managed to get another year out of the front Carlisle's track chief. Many plugs and lots of slime kept the front tires going, always went flat on me. This time I tracked down BKT Tires ... skid Power HD (W Wall). Hope it turns out good tomorrow and the tires work out, we will see soon. 18x8.50-10 Front Tires BX25D 2012... Thanks for your response though.
Where can I buy one of those bumpers like you have on the front of your tractor. Did you have a special made?
Nope! Came stock on the 2015 BX25D. Thanks for your comment!!
I just ordered one of these and it arrived today!
You're gonna love it! Thanks for watching and commenting!
You just earned yourself another subscriber. From what I can see, your videos are full of interesting ideas and it seems like you probably have more to share. I'd encourage you strongly to make some more, as it seems to be entertaining to many people such as myself. Enjoy that BX. We had a BX2230 and that thing never failed us. We're now onto a B2301 and I'm looking for mods to do to it and you, sir, have given me a lot of ideas. Thanks again. Take care, and God bless.
Thank you!! I really appreciate your encouragement. I'm getting ready to do a restoration - keep a look out for that. I'm going to do a series and hopefully, you'll enjoy them also! And my God also bless you sir!
I too got the clevis mount and bolt on hooks for little Massey but decided to put them on other FEL. Noticed several of your videos are no longer in your channel. You used to have one working with your night lights moving dirt. Have a good weekend.
I use the clevis mount all the time!! Nope......not me. I never delete videos or make videos of me operating. You may have me confused with some other good-looking guy!! LOL!!
ya know at Tractor supply (and many others) they sell a draw bar for the rear 3 point that tow balls can be mounted to. much easier to back up to the trailer and lift up the tongue/move it/set it down again all without leaving the driver seat. i welded a upright bar on mine so that i can tie in the top link to keep the bar from rotating when pushing a trailer forward and back. also, i can tow trailers out into my fields and this has been very helpful getting trailers places that my pickup (even though it's 4wd) cannot get to. admittedly, i have two Kubota's, one L2550 and a MX4800 which have a higher hitch capacity, but i'd think a BX would have enough to move smaller trailers around
Awesome......I'll look into one. I also have a L2501 that would work well on. Thanks!!
Where did you get the rear hitch plate? Looks like a great idea and it has spots for tie downs when trailering.
I got it from eBay. I couldn't find it for you but I did find this one: www.ebay.com/i/271227168042
Can you do a video on the ammo can chain box? Specifically how you mounted it to the loader frame.
I did do a video on them and purposely DIDN'T upload it and I'll tell you why.......... In order to mount the cans to the loader frame I drilled four 1/4" holes in the Front End Loader frame mount, used a 1" spacer so I could open the lids of the ammo cans and used four grade-8 1/4-20 bolts with nylock nuts to attach them. I don't feel that will cause me any anguish but others will. Some folks feel that you must NEVER drill into the FEL frame mount for any reason. For example: On my channel, I have a video of my ROPS lights it shows that I drilled into the ROPS to run the wires. MY OPINION of drilling into the ROPS is that a couple of holes isn't going to ruin the integrity of the steel unless you consider rust forming where the drill exposed bare metal 25 years or more from now. Anyhow, I got a ton of negative comments and some pretty insulting words thrown my way for doing that. Because of that - I just thought it better to not publish the video and avoid the onslaught!! Thanks for the comment and happy tractoring!
Thank you for your response. I agree with you that such small holes should not have any structural impact on the frame. Also, it is my opinion that you can do whatever you want with your own property.
I agree brother. Thanks for the comment!
For the front receiver did you have to cut the frame of tractor? And where did you get it from??
No. It bolted right up. I got it on eBay right here: www.ebay.com/i/132386891785
Could you please tell me who manufactured the front 2 inch receiver as that is exactly what I am looking for?
Thank you.
Try here. www.MyTractorTools.com I think you might like what he has going on there!
Nice bolt on mods ! & sub have a nice day ! curt :-)
Thanks for the compliment and the sub! If you keep watching - I'll keep making them!!
