That smart sketch feature is so damn fun. It turns my crappy drawings into some cool stuff.
Sketch to Image is so awesome! I've had a sketch of my cat in my Notes since 2019 that has been transformed into amazing images. I did a random sketch on my home screen like you did and it came out looking like another cat I live with. I'm never going to be bored again!

Hi do you use snapchat? I just got my S24+ yesterday and realised when I take pictures in snapchat it's sharp BUT once I share the pic to my story and I view it it looks blurry. Have you not8ced this?
If this is what they bring in an interim update, just imagine how awesome OneUI 7 is going to be!!
Samsung taking us to the next level with their phones. I guess Apple will be in trouble trying to get their phones capable to do these fantastic features as Samsung does. It will take from Apple a few years to cover all of that as it usually had in the past years
Especially after yesterdays iPhone 16 launch which was just horrendus.

Smart select and sketch to image can be used in any camera app. Adjust background transparency, and then you can draw anything and do more useful things in real life.
Just watched the video, and I'm stoked about this update! Seems like they made some really cool improvements. Can't wait to try out the new features and see how they work. Hopefully, it addresses some of the issues people were having. Keep up the great work!

@sakitech. I would like to inform you that after the One UI 6.1.1 update, the "sketch to image" feature in Samsung Notes now allows users to draw anything simply by writing/giving prompt. Thought its in very primitive stage, but its exciting

They just spoiled Smart Select, which by the way I use a lot. Now it doesn't work for me anymore and I don't know if I find a way to find the previous features, which were better.
Mine warms up now with this update when i watch youtube videos
Live Effect doesn't work on every picture in my gallery. Sometimes it just doesn't show. Hopefully Samsung can perfect this to work on all pictures.
My bad. It has to be people or animals for Live Effects. I tried it on a landscape picture with no people or animals.
They removed smart select but now you can no longer select circles which was great for taking pictures of profiles
This is a major downgrade in my opinion 😢
why would you want to take pictures of other people's profiles? that's creepy.
you can do it by taking ss and go to gallery then edit then lasso and then shape

They havent removed it i can still do it after update lol
Next S25 Updates, new big fetaures will be the S PEN, with built in Voice speaker. That we can use for doing a Vidoe.

I just got my update this morning on s24 ultra
Something you didn't mention about the note features, you need to update the Samsung note app to access these features, I tried it before updating, it didn't work, but worked well after updating. Nice video by the way, amazing Job

Then my S24 Ultra _did_ just receive this yesterday, September 10, 2024. I made screenshots of the text which explains what's in the update. Sure enough, it does still state 6.1 at the bottom and on the phone.
I don't like how it removed the info icon from the gallery when your checking your pictures and videos.

The option to make gifs from on-screen videos have been removed along with being able to translate different languages with the s-pen

Battery performance?
What edge panel are you using for the smart select. Also where do you get your wallpaper
I hope they concentrate on fixing the skipped frames when panning during video recording. My iphone does not have any of it but my 24u has it both on 4k 60fps and 4k 30fps (haven’t bothered trying other configurations)
@AlphaMan-v7t already have the s24 ultra. Quite disappointed with that aspect

They remove the heat issue for a new update .?
I'm not sure if you mentioned this so far I'm only halfway through the video but also the Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner changed as well.

Actually the adding a file folder to the homescreen the way you did it was already existing. The new way is you can long press and drag to homescreen

Just watched the first part again with the software update number, I do have this update. The 6.1 instead of 6.1.1 confused me.
Yeah. Apparently the "One UI 6.1.1" name is only for the flip and fold, but the features that were released with these phones are now also on the S24 series.
Check in about phone then software information then band version if last 4 are AXH7 you have the 6.1.1 update and may need to upgrade some apps to get all features
Here in Brazil we already received the UI 6.1.1 for S24 ultra. Therefore, I don't know why the AI icon isn't showing like in your phone ( see at 13:10 min) and even for photos in the gallery at 14:08 min.
Any suggestion?
We need the iOS 18 feature that lets you lock any app icon with Face ID.

It says 6.1 because it's 6.1. it will say 6.1.1 when it's in fact 6.1.1 also when I got the update it was only around 30mb

Could this software update be the reason that my NFC stopped working all of a sudden 2 days ago? I've just updated the software so hopefully that's fixed it

@@bigb252 not much difference I stopped upgrading every year Iphones now every two years.Samsung I did because they have mega pre deals but then value goes down. from 15 to 16 noth worth upgrading maybee from 13 or 14 ok

Are all these features only for s24 ultra and s23 ultra ?
I just updated my S24 Ultra to the recent software update to One Ui 6.1.1 but I found a bug after update, The notification sound is coming out from one speaker instead of both and the sound not clear, It sounds like mono not dynamic like before the update. I hope that get fixed soon
