- Hello everyone! You guys really loved my pink crystals shower gel video and recipe and had lots of great suggestions and questions regarding different ways to make this recipe. This shower gel is a lot like the pink sugar crystals shower gel using a lot of the same ingredients at slightly different ratios along with the addition of a calendula and chamomile infusion! Also new to this recipe is the addition of loads of skin loving honey which makes this shower gel really stand out! Thank you! In theory, I think SLSA would work but it has tendency to really make liquid soap too thick so you may need to adjust amounts. Also, I have only ever seen it in powder form.

Can this been done with any fragrance? I tried the the other shower gel you did with another fragrance and it got very think. Almost want to give up on the shower gel but I will try this one .
Different fragrances will act differently in these shower gel recipes. The ones I’ve shown you here work great with the fragrances I’ve used. It takes a LOT of testing and can be frustrating at times!
Will it lather up with a wash cloth, I'm going to make it for the family and my boys will not use any kind of sponge?
Yes, it will lather with a washcloth but not as much

How does it lather on a wash cloth?? A shower loofah always lathers lots.
I have tried it on my bare hands and it has a good lather, of course the loofah makes the best lather!

yes, you can. The lather will be a little less bubbly but it should work fine.

Can I use optiphen??
optiphen is really best suited for oil based products, germall will work better in this recipe.

you can but you will need to use an emulsifier or solubilizer so the oils and water don't separate.

Can you use this as a face wash ?
Hi there, yes, you can, although you may want to leave the fragrance out or use essential oils. It is geared more for the body though. I am coming up with a face wash one with a milder ph. soon.
