She told us why she hasn’t built a keyboard lately in less than 30 seconds. Any other RUclipsr would start a video with a sigh and then ramble and repeat themselves for over 15 minutes at least. Switch and Click is true quality.
Loved the chill vibe of this build vid. And ESPECIALLY loved your candor about burnout. Hobby burnout is a thing, and I'm definitely feeling it myself right now -- so hearing you talk about it has helped me feel better about it. Also... sick builds. That Drop DCX Dolch-alike is beautiful!
Hi! Your making me confident of making my drop carina keyboard! Watching you helps me what to do and what switches to use Keyboard: Drop Carina Keycap: Pom Jelly or White skyline (didn’t choose yet) Switches: Holy Panda Lube: IDK Thank you,
I feel like the music could have been mixed down a bit more Also, Betty, don't burn out! It's a big issue when youtube expects you to crank out constant videos to keep up with the algorithm! We all support you taking a break, I'm sure.
Betty: "I haven't built a keyboard in a long time" Me: "How long?" Betty: "three months!" So this is the difference between an enthusiastic and a hobbyist.
How are you liking your endgame board vertex? I just ordered one in ano grey as well except my weight is the chroma stainless matte finish. Can't wait.
That's the beauty of the hobby. You can go as OCD as you like, or do it as stock as you like. To some even a Dell keyboard works fine. So lubing is definitely a lot of hard work for that extra touch of perfection. That's why high-end boards cost a lot more, but not everyone can appreciate the difference enough to justify its purchase over more budget options. Do what makes you happy, that's the most important thing.
I personally love your Valorant channel and I hope you continue posting on there, Betty! Thank you for the great content and no need to pressure yourself into making keebs just for the sake of it!
You may not have built a keyboard in a while but I have definitely been watching your videos. I just got into the hobby and built my first custom keyboard. Because of your switch tier lists I made a Keychron v1 with Neapolitan switches. Wow does it sound and feel great. Thanks for all the content! edit for spelling.
I need help on a switch. I bought some jwick black v2 switches on amazon they work but they don’t fit all the way and yes I have clipped the stems needed. The keyboard I have is a redragon k552 and am currently confused on why they no fit
Awesome video. Really good ideas and editing. My opinion of the keyboard is that it is build to compete the beauty contest. The sound is mediocre and I haven't seen any content creator making it "wow".
Hi, I just discovered your channel. Love your contents. Quick help: I’m try to find a keyboard with a retrò style that sounds like an old keyboard, let say, like an apple 2 plus (one of my old computer). It should have Bluetooth (and work with macs) and backlit keys. What switch I need to emulate apple 2 plus keyboard?
I’m currently starting to build my very first pc setup and I was getting a Redragon K530 60% keyboard, I was wondering if you could do a video for the Redragon K530 60% because I want to know what it will sound and be like when I buy it
But Betty, some would say, you're leaving like 30% performance on the table without RGB! Imagine all those headshots you could make if you had PERKY RGB goodness!
Its okay to take a break, You are an amazing person and have done alot for this community already. Im sure no one would care if there where no building video's for as long as you'd like. Just continue doing what you enjoy!
Not going to lie...was super surprised when the glorious stabs were busted out...pretty sure i have never heard or seen anyone choose to use their suspect stabs to build a high-end kit.
Thank you man, you helped me a lot, great video. (No viruses even after installing the program on the computer, antivirus 360 total. So gentlemen readers, thanks to the author)
yeah i figured. it's simple logic that this hobby has a roughly infinite amount of customization so no wonder people might get bored or stop doing it once in a while.
These keyboards are way out of my budget but I still enjoy watching them and figuring out how I can improve my budget keyboard without spending much money.
Hehe, funny keyborg woman In all seriousness I’m liking this vibe it’s more chill than past keyboard videos I love that energy, but this vibe is more your friend Called you and is building a keyboard in the background and I like it Okay edit, the valorant channel I think is a cool idea gaining multiple audiences is good, I also had got into valorant recently so ima go check that out now :3
hi s&c, you should check out the rapoo n2400. its a really cheap keyboard (about 13 euro) that sounds good by default but could probably be amazing with mods and lube.
I thought I'd enjoy the "hobby" but after doing 5 keebs the only thing I still tolerate is building a kit like the barebones Keychron, trying to mod budget crap from Ali to make it passable just annoys the hell out of me, even having to lube 70 switches is like pffffffff why do I inflict this to myself lol. I just want something robust and serviceable, and ultra cheap is not cheap in the long run in that regard.
Hi there! Love watching your videos! I’m looking to buy/build my first mechanical keyboard for around $200-$230. Would love to have suggestions! I’m thinking GMMK pro ($170) + 120x linear Gateron Blacks ($35) + B&W MSA profile Doubleshot Keycaps ($29 amazon) + Keychron Knob ($5) OR IQUNIX ZX75 Dark Side wireless ($225) Please guide!
You gave so much love to all keyboards you have built, including these two. You deserve a nice relaxing break from keyboard stuff. It's long overdue.
thank you, I appreciate that!

NOMG YOUR BACKKKK OMMMMGGGG
You have created soooo much keyboard content that you 100% deserve a good break
Nice to hear you're doing well! Nice build!
Hey, thanks!

Dry just gotta do that but respect for u and the keyboard
Welcome back
What is the plastic thing below the key caps of the keyboard cuz mine gets stuck under
Welcome Back To The Experiance!

Betty: "three months!"

I find lubing switches only really changes the acoustics with minimal difference on feel depending on what material the switches made out of

Mad respect, love this channel! Keep it up, you were the one who got me into keyboards haha
That's awesome!

Cool this is probably one of the best videos that you have made. :) I think you deserved that break from keyboards. ❤❤

abrup ending ... i had to replay it a few times ^^
How long does it take to remember all of this? I'm pretty sure there's a course somewhere online somewhere?

As a keybroard expert what is your opinion on Charachoder? please do a video about that 😊
Why did this end so abruptly
should there be more to this video
I know, I thought there would be commentary after it was done lol
