My female duo partner and I (a male) played "Hotel California," the entire song, using only 2 Gibson Les Paul guitars, 2 Marshall half-stack amps and our two voices through a very average PA amp and monitors. I played all of the guitar solo parts, and she played all the rhythms and did most of the main vocals. The audiences didn't seem to mind that we had no drummer or bass player. Our unofficial manager/sound engineer videoed one performance which was very much "live," and unbeknownst to us, posted it on RUclips. We were not involved in that. The video was up and doing pretty well on RUclips, and then all of a sudden one day it had been BLOCKED. I can only guess that Don Henley and the others felt threatened by two nobodies who were playing that song just for fun. I admit I made a few minor bloopers when I had to switch between Don Felder's doubleneck Gibson and Joe Walsh's Telecaster in tempo, but it came out pretty good. Too bad for Felder and the others, but that video still exists on our own little social media page. You can't stop true musicians who just want to have fun and don't want to cop your "glory."
I was there!! Soooo good
Best live act to go out on Tour... they get better every year!
Amazing show. Seriously talented band.
Pro Chameleons🖤
Thanks so much! I’m seeing them tonight at Cadogan Hall…I’ve literally travelled 10,000 miles to see them!

Very good but not enough of Jessica Harwood it seems.
