ZZ Top´s iconic blues tune is the canvas for this underrated Gibson model. Lightweight bare bones Rocker with the quirk of an early roasted maple fretboard, this guitar has been slightly modded with an Iron Gear Platinum 90 bridge pickup, a custom brass scratch plate and Hipshot open gear locking tuner. Yesterday, this wonderful collab of @sina-drums, @elsasteixner and friends came out. Elsa's vocals are astonishing, so distinct, Sina's chops are flawless as always (played with modern grip for a change again). Follow both channels is you like! The added guitar flavours were sooo much fun to do today which hopefully comes across well.

Thanks to First To Eleven, this wonderful cover became available to serve as convas for this self-built copper sheet covered guitar beauty. We call her 'The P-Coin'. She was built in conjunction with our daughter, made from an ash body and a Patrick Eggle neck that I had available. The pickups chosen are a diMarzio DP172 and an Alexander Pribora Voodoo bridge single coil.

Woahhh, that was fun! Inspired by the One Control Butter Yellow envelope filter and the recent black Fusion T arrival, allowing for Drop B tuning and talk box type sounds, this became a must do for me ... and what a blast! Lovely Audra, Zasha, Sam and Ryan got company from an expensive and a budget Gibson, paired with a Fender and a Harley Benton for good measure.
