Exactly right. Elway and Denver were tops in the AFC in this era. Seattle was an occasional playoff team.
I hated Elway. The Boz hit was spectacular. I remember watching it in realtime.
Late hit out of bounds, straight shot to the head, QB pops up, unfazed and runs back to huddle. Then that QB won multiple super bowls as player and GM, before being inducted into the hall of fame. Who is the other guy, again?

Brian Bosworth WAS a bust. He was on steroids at Oklahoma, was forced off of them when he came into the NFL, and was thus exposed. Out of the league within a few seasons.
He talked all that crap to Elway, yet its John with the championships and the respect, while Brian Bosworth is basically a punchline. Yet another wasted draft pick in the pathetic history of the Seattle Stinkhawks.
