So whenever I open the shape as .psb file it gives me a transparent background behind the shape, and i cant fit in the other photograph.. Hows that possible?

Why not stretch the original photo instantly ? Without creating a box..

I'm assuming that's so that you can replace the image multiple times if you want without having to go through all the steps again
