You can always use the extra remaining napkin for wiping your tile, or your hands. Not totally wasted.

I have done this before, but after baking i rubbed all of the napkin off under running water. The design was transferred onto the clay. You can also do it with wrapping paper 🥰

I'm not sure if using napkins on polymer clay is different, but I was wondering when you put them in water and were rubbing the edges, I was wondering if you lightly rubbed the top would the napkin come off leaving just the image? That's how it's done transferring images including napkins on other kinds of things that I know of.

Joann's sales Sculpey pasta clay machines. I got mine for about $20 because regularly they'll have a 40-60% off coupon for regular priced items.

Next time you can use colored paint pens to accentuate the vibrancy of the colors.

For your rejects, could you paint them or add some decor?

Should probably mention wearing a mask is necessary when sanding or filing unless the item is under water. I prefer using sandpaper and water
