So right about the choice of fabric. I’m trying to not bring in any more 100% polyester items. It’s really hard because so many brands use this. But ultimately it looks inexpensive and makes me feel overly sweaty.

Great looks. Confidence is also a great way to look polished. When you love how you look (Not caring what other folks think), you truly look your best. You are wearing your clothes not them wearing you.

You promote affordable brands unlike many other style advisers on You Tube who promote expensive brands that the majority can only aspire to own. Most people cannot afford clothes and accessories costing hundreds or thousands.
Can you do a piece on shoes, because we all can't wear heels anymore, and some outfits you wear seems to only look good with heels. What flats or tennis shoes will look good when you are trying to make an outfit looks good. Thanks

Awesome tips❤! Buying classic pieces is money well spent. I attended a wedding 2 weeks ago. The bride requested that guests wear tones of beige. I paired classic beige slacks that I’ve had for at least 12 years w/a simple blouse & floral pumps(from Amazon). No one could believe that the slacks were that old.

Some really great, usable ideas on how to level up an outfit. I "forgot" I own a couple of high end silk scarves that I haven't pulled out of my closet in forever. I used to wear one of those with a neutral sweater or blouse and basic trousers or skirt or one-color dress, and it would look instantly amazing. I need to go dig those out right now!

Thank you for this video. I have revamped my work wardrobe. I love monochromatic outfits. I love pops of color for the spring and summer but the fall gets all the natural colors with a little razzle dazzle every now and then with a pattern and a bold color. 😊

Great examples! I like the phrase "level up" or "upscale the outfit". Look more expensive always sounds a little odd, to me, although many people use it. You definitely leveled up your outfits. Your cargo skirt is a GREAT example of the value of a skilled tailor. You have a great eye.

Good advice. My mother was a professional seamstress so we can all sew but nowadays folks can learn to sew online especially here on RUclips.

There are so many resources that I’m sure you’ll reach your goal. I agree with @6ftNaturalBeauty,sewing is an invaluable skill. Good luck❤️

I really like all of your broad subject videos!! This one makes the clothes of fame list as well!! I definitely have most or more than half of the pieces, and I definitely mesh them together to make for a classy outfit ensemble. Designer pieces are an investment therefore, I tend to utilize my bags, earrings, bracelets, etc when it comes to designer additives. I love blazers..however, I live in New Orleans..so our winters are all of maybe 3 to 4 weeks sparingly..so, I wear winter pieces when the first sign of cold arises!!😂😂

Love the content, I am a print mixer upper also......lol. I think maybe the only way you can look clownish by mixing prints is if they are too colorful but keeping it neutral can create an awesome street style look. Keep doing your style however it may be.

Absolutely beautiful pieces and ideas and I agree with learning how to sew. I am self taught and that skills saves a lot of money. Tailoring is ridiculously expensive
That’s wonderful. 🙌🏾♥️ I really want to learn Jazz. It’s one of the best skills to have IMO. They used to have classes at this craft store here in Southern California called Joann’s but after Covid they never brought the classes back. I need to find some classes.

I would definitely look into classes or even on RUclips for ppl that teach you in its simplest form. I learned by watching ppl in here use clothing they already own as patterns that’s a good start ❤️❤️
