Maybe it's not a permanent call...maybe it's just to temporarily strip you of certain mindsets. Sometimes these things can give us a false confidence and they can become an idol. He's changing your heart. Next time you use those thing's, your heart will be different. Also it doesn't hurt to ask God if this a temporary or permanent call.

But a couple of days ago, I found myself literally scared to wear pants or wear my hair down. The Lord literally had to change my heart because I definitely had a religious mindset. Nothing and I mean NOTHING that you do/wear will stop God from loving you. Everything in this life is meaningless and temporary. I'm learning now to just commit your life to the Lord and enjoy his blessings!
I was telling my girls that the other day. That I want to start sewing as a hobby. My mom and aunts learned how from my grandmother. Unfortunately they're not here anymore, so I want to learn but with the machine. Lol.
I’m a designer… and have been wearing and loving wide leg pants FOREVERRR!!! Literally just made like 6 pair of wide leg pants with matching corsets/bustiers that match, sooo it looks like I’m wearing jumpsuits. Never stopped wearing heels... wore them through BOTH my pregnancies and STILL to this day, I only own 2 pair of "sneakers". My sons are now 19 and 24

I wear the elevator ones in summer with sun dresses and also flip flops in the house. But I can find LOVELY sandals and shoes at (gasp!) Walmart clearance that suit church and everywhere else, including shopping. I will also add that I too am on a sewing journey!!! The two sewing channels that have helped me the most thus far are 'Sewing Therapy' (Ring Scarf tutorial is a perfect beginner project!) and 'Sew Happy' (she does tutorials for Tiana's closet patterns, which I adore). I will suggest that your first clothing project could be an elastic waist skirt, however, and there are an abundance of those on youtube from many sources. I have several of these now in sale fabrics that I adore. Just be sure you choose a fabric you actually love before getting started. :) KUDOS on your modesty journey. I think the thing that helped me the most was viewing my clothing as an opportunity to dress with self-dignity for respect (from myself AND others). I don't want to be oggled, I want to be respectfully admired and seen as a King's Daughter. :)

I love this video, thank u for the tips ! I need to revamp my whole wardrobe. I’m 22 and want to dress more put together not just for me but for Christ . Also, I noticed I’m treated differently when I dress. I make sure I dress how I want to be addressed. The tight clothes will attract guys that just want to get my number and flirt with me, it’s so weird and very uncomfortable, but dressing more covered, I get a different approach. 💯

My husband purchased the Saint Laurent for $5000 for my birthday and my friend purchased a dupe for around $60 and it looks identical? I honestly couldn't believe it! The only thing is that the silver chrome chain handle on her dupe bag has faded, but she can just purchase a thick chrome handle chain and put it on her bag!
