Some are saying there is no audio but I assure you I have it and others do as well, so it must be a RUclips thing, try refreshing or using a different browser or something, idk I'm not a tech guy.
I'm seeing some other comments saying that there's no audio - just wanna let you know that it isn't the case for me and is likely on RUclips's side, not yours
Your point on Yoru working for Breeze is something I have been saying for a while to my friends, but you missed a really big point IMO. On defense he can rotate from one site to the other instantly, and on a map as big as Breeze that is a game changer. crossing mid is a death sentence usually and going around defender spawn takes a considerable about of time, even more if you have to check for someone coming through A Hall or Mid Nest. Yoru can just bypass this and go straight to reinforcing the site that needs him with a preplaced tp. Only other agent that can do this really is Neon, but the rest of her kit kinda falls apart on Breeze so she wouldn't be as ideal
My main problem is (for now) there's no comps that can accomodate Yoru on Breeze. What you described is what lurkers do, so if Jett is replaced by Yoru, no one can entry fast enough. And Chamber can't replace that aspect of Jett
@@michaelchristian3608 True, but I still feel like teams may find use for him. I only play on a casual level so I know my opinions are certainly flawed, but very few pro teams have experimented with the reworked Yoru and I'm fairly confident we will be seeing more of him now Jett is nerfed. Maybe not a lot, but he can only really go up
@@BIONICTHUMB Post Jett nerf, Raze and Neon will likely rise in usage, but not Yoru, for the same reasons Phoenix and Reyna haven't been played as much: they can't create space. TMV said so himself here ruclips.net/video/I7IW6RPoW3A/видео.html&ab_channel=ThinkingMan%27sValorant it's also probably why PRX ran Raze alongside Yoru on Bind The best I came up with on Breeze is Neon Yoru Skye Fade Viper, plays kinda similar to PRX's Bind comp, on attack it's standard but on defense you go full aggro for map control
@@michaelchristian3608 yup, it feels like you need another duelist if you wanna play yoru. He doesn't really fit well as an entry fragger, sort of has his own niche.
Nice content, Master. Also, on the Cypher pick on Split, the first time I saw a team used the last Cypher strat you mentioned is Dazed era T1, in a VCT qualifier against Smeag-is-Life Faze Clan. Their attack side was unrelenting then. Curry, who was playing the Cypher, constantly placed those cage lineups whenever he can, basically allowing them to control A main and letting T1 focus on pressuring B and mid. This allowed T1 to effectively contest mid pushes from Babybay and co. IIRC, the A Main Cypher cage setups neutralized aggressive pushes from Corey (who was on Raze then), further baiting Faze Clan into haphazardly contesting the other areas, making them fall into T1's trap. I missed that version of T1 to be honest.
I really appreciate your hard work, and bring us the viewers the best guide. It helps a lot in understanding this game and many aspects of it. I'm also a semi pro plays myself and we can't afford an analyst, your videos helps alot in theory crafting and many more. TY
Audio is fine for me. Loving the uploads these past few weeks, I can tell you're really in your element when breaking all this down and it's both super informative and fascinating! Now off to my plat games where none of this matters because teamwork is nonexistent and even counterproductive.
I wonder why Breech, despite being very good on paper, he struggles with his pick and win rate. He looks soo good with his utils. I think Breech is a small buff away from being a star initiator. Almost all the initiator have some sort of info gathering util, Breech does not and I feel like he should have cuz info gathering seems to a trademark initiator ability.
@@satanlucifer Yes, on paper. But now that every single initiator has some sort of info gathering, Breech seems like an outlier. And info gathering is one of the main ways initiate. See Sova, Skye dogs, Kayo knifes, heck even the new agent Fade. Maybe give him a voice line that says 'Stunned' whenever his E ability stuns. Small Buff, big impact.
@@imerence6290 that'd be cool, but that's not the diversity riot is going for. They want each agent to have their own strengths and weaknesses. Like they did to omen and brim. Breach is made to have a large impact with his stuns.
Awesome vid! I would love to see a video on statistics and win rates on guns and guns on each map. For example does Phantom have higher win rate than Vandal on Split or does Vandal have higher win rate than Phantom on Breeze. Haven’t seen any data or video on this topic yet.
Your idea with Yoru gatecrash on breeze is actually a LOT more scary than you realize, you dont even NEED the viper orb in hall to pull that off. you can straight up throw it from the right side of hall (aim at the hinges of the door in hall) and it will end up in the back of the defender spawn, its CRACKED lmao.
i really love to play Cypher on Split. I feel like he was kinda popular before all these agents that have better ults than him came out. But there are so many cheeky cams you can do, its really fun
fun fact : most of these examples were based on the fact that running multi Sentinel comps is kinda op, especially at pro play, where the team can coordinate to plant the spike. And now retake is that much harder. Also Chamber OP. Also, secretly, with now fade being out, all outplay agents like yoru/omen can combo with fade very nicely
I geel like cypher on split is an instant pick since beta and that has never changed. Also looking forward to seeing if Fade is played on split, seems like she would be a nice pick.
Breach is underrated no cap. 80% winrate with him this act. Actually managed to push all the way to diamond 1 just spamming util even though my aim is trash.
Personally, I think Split is the best map for Cypher, mainly because you will have a very hard time trying to counter his defensive setups, like the one way smoke/cage on B main, there're counters to it but you can add few trips and or get support from your team and the enemy won't get the site
I think any map like Haven, Fracture or Ascent, Breach will be really good. Killjoy isn't good on Fracture and is falling off on Haven because of how much Breach is seeing play.
I actually think that omen on breeze is secretly good, particularly for low elo where i am in. Not because it is particularly good, but rather, because people are just not used to playing against omen. This makes for easy tp/ulti outplays, particularly when the map is big and cannot be heard easily.
The problem is that omen fails to do his main job as a character, smoking off angles, on an open map like breeze. He just becomes a worse yoru in many aspects on this map, sadly.
Phoenix on bind. Listen, mans curling ability on his wall helped my team tremendously it’s not even funny- most ppl I’ve seen don’t use his walls, only flashes around lamps and showers but TRUST ME when I say USE THE DAMN WALLS to create a damn safe path. I may not be a Phoenix master (tho mans needs a buff) but the curling walls on bind r 👌👌 Also who the hell doesn’t pick Chamber in bind? THE FUCKER IS CHOSEN 24/7 THERE AND ITS ALWAYS TOWER CAMPING.

Info gathering isnt initiator's main util. It's to initiate a site take. Breach's stun, flashes, and ult does that

I like how all 4 sentinels have a spot in one of the maps
Im a main cypher and i think split his best map, so underrated!!
Yoru on split with his flash tp... It's important to know where to tp and syncing with team not just solo tp
What would you change about Cypher to make him a more viable pick?
i think Yoru is amazing on most maps in fact all maps apart from split
I like how half of the list are sentinels B)
Rob said it first, Yoru is good on Breeze
I think u gotta reupload this with audio cuz I can't hear anything
